The Euphrates River s Dragon Vein Has Astonishingly Revealed Signs of Drying Up, Prompting Associations With Doomsday Prophecies

[People News] Traditional Chinese culture holds that 'mountains are dragons, rivers are veins,' a concept central to both traditional geomancy (feng shui) and geography in China.

In ancient geomancy, the concept of 'dragon veins' is crucial: mountain ranges are referred to as 'dragon veins' because their undulating forms resemble the movement of a dragon, hence the saying 'mountains are dragons.' Similarly, water flows are termed 'water dragons,' with rivers and water systems viewed as expressions of dragon energy flow.

In their quest for greater benefits, humans have recklessly diverted rivers to construct dams, often justifying these actions as scientific management and the utilisation of water resources for electricity generation, irrigation, and economic development. However, they fail to recognise that these dams effectively sever the water dragon in half. When a water dragon is cut into multiple segments, it disrupts the dragon's energy flow, leading to its gradual demise and the drying up of the river. Consequently, the communities living along the banks of the river may soon face drought and the hardships of displacement.

The Euphrates River, located in Western Asia, stretches approximately 2,800 kilometres (about 1,740 miles), making it one of the longest rivers in the region. Along with the Tigris River, it has been instrumental in nurturing the civilisation known as the 'Fertile Crescent,' and is regarded as the heart of ancient Mesopotamian civilisation, often referred to by historians as the 'cradle of human civilisation.' However, in recent years, the water level of the Euphrates has significantly decreased, raising concerns about potential desiccation. This situation has sparked connections to doomsday prophecies found in the Bible.

Despite the fact that the Euphrates River flows through only three countries, its upper reaches are predominantly controlled by Turkey. In recent decades, Turkey has constructed numerous dams along the Euphrates, with at least 8 to 10 large dams on the river's main stem. This has led to ongoing complaints from downstream countries, Syria and Iraq, regarding reduced water flow.

A report from the New York Post noted that in 2013, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) indicated that researchers had conducted extensive observations of the Tigris and Euphrates river basins, which encompass parts of Turkey, Syria, Iraq, and Iran.

The findings revealed that between 2003 and 2009, the region experienced a staggering freshwater loss of up to 117 million acre-feet (approximately 144 cubic kilometres). This amount is roughly equivalent to the volume of the Dead Sea, with around 60% of the loss attributed to groundwater extraction, while another contributing factor is climate change.

Officials from the Iraqi Ministry of Water Resources have warned that without decisive action, the Euphrates River could dry up by 2040. The region is already facing challenges such as crop failures, water pollution, and the spread of diseases, which are intensifying the already critical humanitarian crisis.

The British Daily Mirror quoted Iraqi climate activist Naseer Baqar, who stated that due to the worsening water crisis, diseases such as diarrhoea, chickenpox, measles, typhoid, and cholera are currently spreading in Iraq, while the government has ceased providing vaccines to its citizens.

The New York Post reports that some believers view the declining water levels of the Euphrates River not only as an ecological disaster but also as a prophetic warning, suggesting that the countdown may have already begun.

Revelation 16:12 states, "The sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up, to prepare the way for the kings from the east."

For generations, some Christians have interpreted this passage, which describes the seven bowl plagues, to mean that the drying up of the Euphrates River will clear the path for a large eastern army to advance towards the Battle of Armageddon. This battle is considered the final confrontation between good and evil before the second coming of Jesus Christ.

Written 2000 years ago, the Book of Revelation prophesies significant events that have taken place from its writing to the present day, along with various signs that will precede the return of the Saviour. However, the prophecy does not clarify who the kings from the east are or what their intentions are in crossing the Euphrates River.
