[People News] In June, Beijing witnessed a remarkable phenomenon of purple lightning accompanied by loud thunder. What could be the explanation for this? Based on information shared by netizens that I found online, the specific dates when this phenomenon occurred in Beijing are as follows:
On the evening of June 30, around 9 PM, multiple areas in Beijing experienced purple lightning and thunder, along with heavy rain that lasted for an hour.
On the evening of June 22, at 10 PM, the western part of Beijing saw intense purple lightning and heavy rain. On this day, many residents captured images of ominously shaped cumulonimbus clouds, which are signs of severe convective weather and extreme conditions (such as thunderstorms, strong winds, hail, and even tornadoes).
On the evening of June 16, several areas in Beijing experienced heavy rainfall. In addition to the rain, the southeastern sky was illuminated by purple lightning, flashing almost once per second for over half an hour, which was quite alarming.
This brings to mind a miraculous event that occurred recently in Quanzhou, Fujian. Around 8 PM on June 24, a bolt of purple lightning, accompanied by a loud thunder, struck a relatively low building in Anxi Xianyuan, igniting a large fire. The lightning created a large hole in the temple's roof, and the building affected was the Longxu Hall of Xianyuan Village, also known as Longxu Temple. The fire destroyed part of the wooden structure.
The reason this event is considered miraculous is that, firstly, there are many tall buildings near Longxu Hall, equipped with several lightning rods, and behind the hall, two towering iron towers stand guard. Yet, the lightning seemed to ignore these, which clearly contradicts the laws of physics.
Secondly, the faces of the statues of the 'Four Heavenly Kings' enshrined in the temple were charred black by lightning, while their bodies remained unscathed. Isn't that quite miraculous? This implies that the heavenly thunder specifically targets the Four Heavenly Kings.
The history of Longxu Temple is said to date back to the Ming and Qing dynasties. It recently completed a comprehensive renovation. Prior to the incident, the faces of the Four Heavenly Kings were covered with red cloth in preparation for a ceremonial unveiling on an auspicious day. However, instead of the ceremony, they were struck by lightning.
Following the lightning strike, various rumors began to circulate in the local community. According to the older generation in the village, the foot of the mountain has always been heavy with yin energy, and deep underground, a mountain spirit demon is imprisoned. The ancestors from the Ming dynasty chose this site to build Longxu Temple to utilize the constant incense and yang energy to suppress the earth's veins, sealing the demon's exit with bluestone slabs, which maintained stability for over four hundred years.
However, this year, the temple's renovations disturbed the foundation of the earth's veins, causing the underground demon to become restless and thus invoking the purple lightning from the heavens.
Some also suggest that after the temple's repairs, the ceremonial unveiling was delayed, leaving the spiritual presence of the statues in a prolonged 'vacuum' state. The wandering yin demons below the mountain took this opportunity to attach themselves to the temple, resulting in the lightning strike.
Regardless of the explanation, the appearance of the purple lightning alongside the heavenly thunder serves to cleanse the demons.
In the 45th chapter of the classic Chinese novel "Journey to the West," titled "The Three Pure Ones Leave Their Names, the Monkey King of Chochi Kingdom Displays His Powers," there is a scene where Lord Deng leads Lei Gong and Dian Mu into the sky at the Southern Heavenly Gate. The Heavenly Lord states, "The Taoist's Five Thunder Method is indeed real. He issued a document, burned the edict, and startled the Jade Emperor, who then cast down a decree directly to the residence of the Heavenly Master of Thunder Sound and Universal Transformation in the Ninth Heaven. We are here under orders to assist in bringing rain through thunder and lightning."
The "Five Thunder Method" mentioned here is rooted in Taoism. The primary sect known for its "Thunder Method" is the Shenxiao School, which was established in the late Northern Song Dynasty. This school categorizes the Thunder Method into ten types, including "Yushu Thunder" and "Zifu Thunder." Taoists who reach a certain level of cultivation can summon thunder and lightning and exorcise demons. The highest deity of the Taoist Thunder Department is the Heavenly Master of Thunder Sound and Universal Transformation, who is responsible for punishing four major sins: greed and corruption, blasphemy against the divine, filial disobedience, and the attachment of evil spirits.
Furthermore, the Taoist text "Dao Fa Hui Yuan" suggests that different colors of thunder and lightning symbolize different powers. Among these, purple lightning (also referred to as Zixiao Divine Thunder) is considered the highest form of punitive thunder or divine punishment, specifically used to eliminate evil spirits or to settle accounts with rebellious situations.
Could the recent occurrences of purple lightning and thunder in Beijing also be aimed at purging numerous evils and malevolence from other realms and even from the human world? It is crucial to recognize that Beijing is the stronghold of the evil regime of the Chinese Communist Party, which naturally attracts a significant amount of wickedness. Only by eliminating these evils can the world enjoy a clear and bright sky.
Regarding the occurrence of purple lightning in Quanzhou, Fujian, and the lightning strike on the faces of the Four Heavenly Kings in a small temple, could this be connected to Xi Jinping's long tenure in Fujian and the fact that his close associates are also from the province?
During his time in Fujian, Xi Jinping frequently visited Anxi, Quanzhou, where he expressed a fondness for Anxi Tieguanyin and other oolong teas. His four close associates—Chen Xi, Cai Qi, Wang Xiaohong, and He Lifeng—are all originally from Fujian.
Recently, it appears that these four associates have faced difficulties: Chen Xi was unexpectedly removed from his position, Cai Qi has taken on a part-time role at the Central Party School and is rumored to be stepping down as the Director of the General Office, Wang Xiaohong has been distracted by economic inspections, and He Lifeng has reportedly been implicated in the case of Wei Xiaodong, who has fallen from grace. If the faces of the Four Heavenly Kings were struck by lightning, it could symbolize trouble for Xi's close associates, a scenario that many in China might find satisfying.
