Trump s Ongoing Assault on Communism: Can Zhongnanhai Grasp the Underlying Message

[People News] Recently, U.S. President Trump has been relentlessly attacking communism, with an unprecedented frequency of remarks.

On July 1, Eastern Time, during a speech at the inauguration of the 'Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library,' Trump declared: 'We will never allow communists to stand in our way. We will not let anyone obstruct us, not even communists! ... Theodore Roosevelt was also a staunch and fierce opponent of what is referred to as communism. He once stated that if the doctrines of communism and socialism are implemented without change, it signifies the ultimate destruction of civilization.'

On June 28, Trump took to his 'Truth' platform to post: 'Communism poses the greatest threat to our country, and it is quite serious! In comparison to World War I, World War II, Pearl Harbor, and the 9/11 attacks, I believe it represents a greater threat, a potentially larger threat. It is like a spreading cancer, and you better stop it quickly. We will never allow America to become a communist country; that will never happen!'

On June 27, Trump posted: "I believe I can become the greatest communist in history... The concept of communism is particularly easy to promote. I provide everyone with free housing, free food for all, and from now on, everything will be free, so everyone will definitely vote for me. The issue is that two or three years later, the entire country will turn into a disaster zone... What is currently unfolding in New York and California is precisely this scenario... They aim to completely dismantle the traditional American way of life because they are issuing empty promises that they know deep down can never be fulfilled."

On June 26, Trump tweeted that he has been waiting his whole life for this moment to "confront the rise of communist forces," asserting, "This ideology has never succeeded even once in thousands of years," and added, "The show is about to begin. Everyone, stay tuned!"

On June 24, Trump remarked on the victory of the "communists": "Beautiful America will never become a communist country!!!"

On June 3, Trump wrote: "Communists often receive early support from voters. However, in the end, the country, state, or city will 'descend into chaos'! Unprecedented levels of severe violence occur, leading to total collapse, and plunging into poverty, filth, and crime." Remember, it starts with astonishing 'popularity', followed by the inevitable 'death and destruction'! He also asked, "Has anyone ever seen a happy communist?"

At first glance, Trump’s ongoing criticism of communism appears to stem from the recent primary election results in New York, where a Democratic Socialist candidate achieved a significant victory, aimed at preventing the United States from descending into a communist state. However, considering Trump’s clear perspective on communism, one might wonder if he is also conveying his stance to the world’s largest communist nation, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), indicating that he will not permit large-scale infiltration by the CCP into the United States. With this attitude, the U.S.-China power struggle is unlikely to come to an end. Have the senior officials in Zhongnanhai, Beijing, grasped this underlying message?

In fact, during Trump’s first term, he publicly condemned Venezuela’s socialist policies in a speech at the United Nations General Assembly, highlighting that they have led to poverty and suffering for the entire population.

In May 2024, Trump once again directly criticized Marxism during a speech at the Libertarian Party convention, labeling it a "cult from hell" and asserting that the United States "cannot tolerate Marxism infiltrating our government, and that educating our children with Marxist ideology constitutes child abuse."

This clearly reflects the genuine opinions of many American conservatives regarding the current turmoil in the United States and its underlying causes, namely that the cult of Marxism is the primary culprit behind the chaos in America, and addressing this issue is an urgent priority for Americans. The CCP, which refuses to "abandon the essence of Marxism," is indeed a significant contributor to the global disorder.

Currently, the actions taken by the U.S. government are becoming increasingly frequent. For example, in the past month, actions targeting the CCP have included:

1. Members of the U.S. Congress and related agencies have initiated a review of the funding networks of organizations such as 'Code Pink.' The U.S. State Department submitted a report to Congress stating that groups like 'Code Pink' and 'People's Forum' serve as cover for the influence operations of the Chinese Communist Party. Currently, the U.S. Treasury Department and relevant agencies have issued subpoenas to the co-founders and associated individuals of these organizations, investigating whether their recent overseas trips (for instance, to Cuba) violate U.S. regulations.

2. A committee in the U.S. Congress has recently begun an investigation into five prominent pharmaceutical companies, asking them to clarify their past clinical trials conducted in China, especially those involving research in the Xinjiang region and Chinese military hospitals. The committee is concerned that these clinical trials may pose ethical risks and could unintentionally bolster the development of China's military biotechnology capabilities.

3. Following the U.S. Supreme Court's rejection of President Trump's executive order aimed at limiting birthright citizenship, the U.S. Department of Justice has directed federal prosecutors to prioritize the investigation and prosecution of alleged 'birth tourism' scams.

4. On June 30, 14 bipartisan members of the U.S. House of Representatives jointly sent a letter to Secretary of State Rubio, urging him to condemn the 'Promoting National Unity and Progress Law' that the Chinese Communist Party began enforcing on July 1. The lawmakers emphasized that this law serves as a tool for forced assimilation, ideological control, and transnational repression.

There is no doubt that the U.S. government is aligning itself with what is perceived as the will of heaven, which is to 'dismantle the Chinese Communist Party' and liberate the world from the constraints of communist evil. Are the senior officials in Zhongnanhai, who view Marxism as their 'soul,' becoming increasingly fearful? Are they sensing the dread of an approaching apocalypse?
