[People News] Today, I announce that due to my advanced age and declining health, along with the fact that the national finances are facing unprecedented severe challenges, I have decided to officially resign from my leadership position and will no longer hold any office. Starting January 1, 2026, I will completely say goodbye to this stage.
Dear friends, comrades, ladies and gentlemen:
Hello everyone!
On the last day of 2025, I stand here to deliver my final New Year address to the people of all ethnic groups in our country, to the Chinese diaspora around the world, and to all those who care about the future and destiny of China.
Thirteen years ago, when I took over the baton, I understood that this was a path fraught with challenges, requiring relentless effort to advance. Over the past thirteen years, we have employed various methods, devised numerous strategies, and endured significant pressures. Ultimately—through the combined efforts of various internal and external forces—we have pushed the long-standing oppressors, who have been exploiting the entire populace, to the brink.
They have lost.
This defeat was not in a single battle, but rather in the inevitable course of history, in the awakening of hundreds of millions of people who are increasingly aware and unwilling to be drained of their resources.
Before I leave this stage, as the Chief Accelerator, I believe it is important to share with everyone how I have progressively accelerated this country's 'great process' over the past thirteen years. After all, these 'achievements' are the fruits of my labour and cannot be taken away quietly. Let us take a moment to reflect on these remarkable 'accomplishments':
First, the anti-corruption campaign and centralisation of power. This is not just ordinary anti-corruption; under the pretext of fighting corruption, I have eliminated all potential rivals and conveniently consolidated power in my own hands. What has been the result? Corruption has not decreased, but I have built the Xi family army—a group of loyal confidants spread across military and political sectors, ensuring that no one dares to utter a word of dissent.
Secondly, extravagant spending. Our 'Belt and Road Initiative' is truly ambitious! We have been pouring money into building high-speed railways, repairing ports, and engaging in infrastructure projects, spending trillions of the people's hard-earned money. What has been the outcome? Many countries are in debt and unable to repay, our investments have gone to waste, and we have earned the reputation of a 'debt trap.' Domestically? The people's pensions and healthcare are under severe strain, yet I continue to accelerate spending to showcase our 'great power demeanour' to the world.
Investing heavily in unfinished projects is my 'millennium plan.' Numerous overseas projects under the Belt and Road Initiative have been left incomplete, the Xiong'an New Area has turned into a ghost town, and the beautiful countryside initiative is filled with half-finished villages, resulting in trillions spent with little to show for it. The people's hard-earned money has been squandered on these 'great projects,' leading to increased debt and resource waste, while I have brought the national finances to the brink of bankruptcy—this is the true meaning of 'acceleration'!
The pandemic lockdown was indeed my crowning achievement. Between 2020 and 2022, I pushed the concept of 'dynamic zero-COVID' to its limits: the entire city was locked down, doors were welded shut, food was acquired through looting, health workers apprehended people on the streets, and management resembled that of makeshift concentration camps, with hundreds of millions confined to their homes for months. The economy ground to a halt, supply chains were disrupted, countless small and micro businesses collapsed, youth unemployment surged, residents committed suicide, and mental health crises escalated... I employed the most extreme tactics to effectively crush China's economy and social vitality into the ground. The international community was left astonished as I slammed on the brakes, shifted into reverse, and pressed the accelerator all at once!
The retreat of private enterprises in favour of state-owned enterprises was also a strategy I meticulously crafted to accelerate this process. State-owned enterprises expanded aggressively, taking over all the prime projects, while bank loans were easily approved; in contrast, private enterprises faced a barrage of regulations, fines, mandatory contributions for 'common prosperity', and 'voluntary' restructuring. The private economy shifted from being a pillar to a 'non-essential' accessory, resulting in a collapse of entrepreneurs' confidence and a complete cessation of investment. The outcome of this acceleration was: the contraction of private enterprises, inefficiency in state-owned enterprises, and a significant drop in overall economic vitality—perfectly aligning with my acceleration objectives.
The introduction of a million African students is a hallmark of my 'internationalism.' I have actively promoted China-Africa cooperation, welcoming over a million African students into our country, and have specifically implemented the 'three accompanying policies'—which have allowed them to widely spread AIDS within our borders. Through various 'exchange activities' and 'friendly interactions,' I have effectively facilitated the virus's infiltration into all corners of society, particularly through 'special services' aimed at party members and officials. The outcome? More than half of the party members and officials across the nation have been infected, leading to a collapse of the healthcare system, a decline in party morale, and countless broken families. This not only accelerated the 'optimisation' of the population but also allowed those in power to experience the consequences of being 'accelerated'—a rather gratifying outcome!
Forced land requisition and demolition serve as my 'instruments' for advancing urban and rural development. Land is being seized and buildings demolished everywhere; when compensation is not provided, alternative measures are employed. The result? Over twenty million people have lost their land and jobs, becoming homeless and displaced. In urban areas, high-rise buildings stand vacant, while in rural regions, farmers are constantly petitioning. I have intensified social conflicts, leaving the lower classes in utter despair.
Through various policies that squander human and financial resources, I have also successfully driven millions of Chinese elites to flee the country. Scientists, entrepreneurs, and intellectuals—one after another, they have sought refuge abroad, taking with them technology and capital. Meanwhile, back home? We face talent loss, brain drain, and economic hollowing out—this is not just a strategy for accelerating national decline.
Now, let’s discuss Hong Kong. I pushed for the 'National Security Law', which has thoroughly undermined the commitment to 'one country, two systems'. Street protests? Suppressed! Free media? Shut down! Consequently, Hong Kong has shifted from being an Asian financial hub to a police state, its international reputation has plummeted, and capital flight has accelerated. How 'happy' the people of Hong Kong are now, all thanks to my efforts.
As for foreign investment? I have not been idle. Through various reviews, regulations, and uncertainties, I successfully drove away a significant number of foreign companies. Tech firms and manufacturing giants have packed up and left one after another. Who told them to be disobedient? The outcome of this acceleration has been the relocation of industrial chains, rising unemployment, and an economic downturn—perfect!
Private enterprises shouldn’t think they can escape either. My approach to seizing private enterprises is one of my major 'innovations'. From Alibaba to Evergrande, I made it clear to private entrepreneurs: your wealth belongs to the state. With fines, restructuring, and nationalisation—a series of coordinated actions, private enterprises are left trembling. I also require private enterprises to establish party organisations to ensure that every company is under my watchful eye. Entrepreneurs, do you now understand who the real boss is?
Censorship and religious control are among my proudest achievements. With upgraded firewalls and VPN blockages, who dares to criticise on social media? Deleting posts, banning accounts, and arresting individuals—all executed seamlessly. As for religion? Dismantling crosses, closing mosques, and transforming Buddhist temples, everything must comply with the Party. The result of this acceleration is that the thoughts of the people are becoming increasingly 'unified'; who dares to dissent? Eliminating opposition is my speciality, from within the Party to the general public, from intellectuals to rights defenders, leaving no one untouched.
The concentration camps in Xinjiang represent my 'human rights masterpiece'. I have established numerous 're-education camps' and detained over a million Uyghurs, all under the guise of counter-terrorism. Despite the chorus of international condemnation, I remain unfazed—accelerating our progress is about showcasing our 'confidence' to the world.
In terms of foreign policy, my strategy is to align with Russia and oppose the United States. By calling Putin my brother and countering American influence, I have forged an alliance with an evil axis. What has been the outcome? The trade dependency between China and Russia has deepened, and the technology blockade has tightened. My wolf warrior diplomacy has been particularly striking, as I confront and threaten others, summon ambassadors, and successfully isolate China on the international stage. By kidnapping the families of Chinese citizens and foreign personnel in China, I engage in hostage diplomacy to maintain domestic stability while simultaneously fueling global anti-China sentiment.
These 'achievements', each and every one, fill me with pride as the Chief Accelerator. Over the past thirteen years, I have accelerated authoritarianism, economic decline, social control, international isolation, the pandemic disaster, the retreat of private enterprises in favour of state-owned ones, population 'purification', unfinished projects, forced evictions, and the exodus of elites. The country is now so 'stable', and the people are so 'happy', all thanks to my acceleration, racing in the opposite direction of the 'great rejuvenation'.
Today, I announce that due to my advanced age, declining health, and the unprecedented financial difficulties facing the nation, I have decided to officially resign from my leadership position and will no longer hold any office. Effective January 1, 2026, I will completely step away from this stage and return to being an ordinary citizen.
This is not a retreat; it is a matter of strategic consideration.
On the contrary, this represents a phased victory that our generation has achieved through thirteen years of hard work, countless late-night discussions, and the sacrifices of many families.
Currently, the largest landlord has been pushed into a corner and can no longer continue to exploit the people.
The path ahead will be taken by the comrades who follow us, and they will undoubtedly do it even better—accelerating at a faster pace.
What I take the most pride in throughout my life is not how high I have risen, but in witnessing more and more ordinary Chinese people begin to stand tall, start calculating their own worth, and begin to ask: 'By what right?'
As an increasing number of people dare to ask 'By what right?', the system that feeds off this question is destined to collapse.
In closing, I want to express my gratitude to all those who have ever supported me, criticised me, understood me, or misunderstood me:
Thank you.
With your presence, this struggle becomes meaningful.
With your support, I am willing to stake my life on this cause.
As we enter the new year, I urge you to keep pushing forward.
Please ensure that the remaining landlords, compradors, traitors, national betrayers, and exploiters are thoroughly dealt with.
Let us truly transform this country into one where the poor and lower-middle peasants hold the reins of power.
I may be leaving, but the spirit will remain strong.
I may be old, but I can still see clearly.
No one can obstruct the historical journey towards the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
The people are determined to rise, and no one can stop them.
I wish all ethnic groups across the country a Happy New Year, good health, and may you soon enjoy a life filled with dignity and pride.
