[People News] On August 7, a video shared on X revealed that the Hengzhou government in Guangxi is labeling the flood disaster caused by the dam break as a natural disaster. They are pressuring residents of Liulan Village to sign a compensation agreement, offering a subsidy of several hundred yuan per person in exchange for their acknowledgement that this disaster was a natural occurrence.

After the villagers rejected this demand, they took to social media to assert their rights, arguing that this was a preventable disaster, and presented the following five points:

1: The flood discharge outlet of the reservoir was only fitted with gates in recent years (there were none prior).
2: The weather forecast on July 3 had already warned of a typhoon and heavy rain two days later, yet the government failed to release water in advance to create storage capacity.
3: On the evening of July 5, the reservoir issued a notice advising everyone to stay away from the riverbank in preparation for flood discharge, but the gates were not opened, and the contractor even mentioned they were going to fish.
4: On the morning of July 6, when the water level suddenly surged, they attempted to open the gates, but the water pressure was too high, preventing the gates from opening; the steel wire rope even broke.
5: By 6:30 AM, the water level had already overflowed the eastern outlet, and Dengwei was already flooded. At that time, there was still electricity and signal, but the downstream Liulan Village received no evacuation notice at all, leading to some residents still sleeping at home, who were swept away along with their houses.

These points further substantiate the claim that the dam break at Liulan Reservoir was a man-made disaster, as the reservoir was contracted for fish farming, which resulted in the failure to release water and create storage capacity; the gates and steel wire ropes installed after spending hundreds of millions were inadequate in torque and could not be opened at critical moments; and despite the dangerous situation at the reservoir at 6 AM, timely evacuation notices were not sent downstream, resulting in loss of life and property.

The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) continues to assert that only 39 people died in the recent flood in Guangxi. However, insiders from the Three Gorges project have revealed that the actual death toll may be as high as 17,000. One insider remarked that if the flood discharge had been announced in advance, it would have raised questions about how to 'settle' the villagers. They would need housing and food, which all require funding, and 'the local authorities are well aware of this.' Thus, he concluded, 'It is better not to notify them; this has become an unspoken consensus. Fewer people dying makes things less complicated; while it may lack humanity, it is the reality.'

The chilling comments from CCP officials, suggesting that 'it is less troublesome if disaster victims die,' have sparked outrage among netizens. One user stated, 'The evil of the CCP has been repeatedly proven by itself, requiring no rebuttal; it is indisputable.' Another added, 'The extreme wickedness of the CCP is beyond what ordinary people can imagine.'

Meanwhile, in Hengzhou, Guangxi, an 87-kilometer-long blue barrier has been erected to prevent the outside world from photographing or live-streaming the disaster's aftermath. On the morning of August 2, local police and government officials forcibly dismantled the tents of villagers in Dudian. The villagers expressed their helplessness, stating that they 'can only spend their own money to rent houses.'

Dudian Village is the closest settlement to the Liulan Reservoir. Following the dam's collapse, many homes in the village were swept away by the flood, yet remarkably, no one in the village lost their life. This has led to the myth of 'the Earth God’s dream saving the entire village,' which reinterprets modern understandings of mythological narratives.

On the night of July 5, a majority of the villagers experienced the same dream, in which an elderly man with a white beard knocked on their door with a staff, urging them, 'Hurry to the mountains, the flood is coming.'

Following that, strange sounds emanated from the land deity temple, waking the entire village with the crowing of roosters and barking of dogs. The villagers, upon awakening, realized they had all shared the same dream! They understood this was a divine reminder, prompting them to spontaneously evacuate in the middle of the night, assisting the elderly and carrying the young, as they followed the deities' guidance to retreat to the back mountain.

After the flood, the villagers were astonished to find that amidst the ruins of their village, the land deity, with a kind and gentle expression, remained seated. While dozens of three-story buildings had disappeared, the land deity temple at the entrance of the village stood resilient. Although 8 of the original 12 pillars had been washed away and the walls eroded, the remaining 4 pillars firmly supported the roof of the temple, and the statue of the land deity remained in its original position. Remarkably, the red couplets on the wall behind the statue were completely intact.

A local deity protects the local populace, valuing their lives. During the catastrophic disaster, the deity safeguarded the villagers' lives through dreams. In the face of such a great calamity, the land deity statue miraculously stood firm, and not a single villager from Dudian Village lost their life. These occurrences are truly miraculous, affirming the ancient saying that 'there are deities above three feet.'

In contrast, while the deities compassionately save lives, officials of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) show indifference to life. All the misdeeds committed by officials at various levels of the CCP will also be recorded by the deities and will face appropriate punishment.
