[People News] More than 100 days have passed since Yu Menglong's death. During these 100 days of advocating for Yu Menglong, time has felt both long and short. It is not that we cannot accept death; after all, no one can achieve eternity. However, every life deserves to have a clear reason for its disappearance. Some people feel as if they have just awakened from a deep slumber, finally seeing the world around them. The world remains unchanged, but the hidden dirt behind it can no longer be ignored; only by uncovering the truth can one find peace of mind.
Throughout these 100 days of advocating for Yu Menglong, netizens have transitioned from shock, grief, confusion, and misunderstanding to actively seeking justice for him. This journey has been filled with fear, uncertainty, doubt, and disappointment, but the Yu family supporters who have come this far may still experience a range of emotions, yet the one word that is absent from their vocabulary is 'give up.' This path may be fraught with challenges and setbacks, but the future will reward those who remain steadfast. With unwavering resolve, there will undoubtedly be a response.
On the hundred-day memorial for Yu Menglong, December 19 saw netizens sending a staggering 8.2 million flowers to him via Baidu Baijiahao. According to the rules, surpassing 8 million flowers would typically grant exposure in the tens of millions. However, Baidu stated that authorisation from Yu or his studio was necessary, meaning that despite exceeding 8 million followers, the Yu Menglong account would not receive the promised exposure. Netizens mocked the situation, asking, 'What are you afraid of for someone who is already gone? Even if we can't achieve tens of millions of exposures, we will continue to stand firm. On this day, we want everyone to know that we are always 'with you, Yu.' The more than 8.2 million flowers represent the heartfelt sentiments of netizens from both home and abroad.
Under the repression of the Chinese Communist government, mainland netizens are among the most pressured groups. Why do we need to raise our voices for Yu Menglong?
One mainland netizen expressed: 'I am not a fan of anyone; I am just an ordinary Chinese citizen seeking the truth for a genuinely kind individual. His fate has completely overturned my worldview and understanding. While it may seem that we are seeking the truth for him, we are actually concerned about our own future. His present may hold the key to each of our tomorrows. This incident has fundamentally challenged our established beliefs: when sincerity is betrayed, and kindness is depleted, do good people truly receive their due rewards? Can we still confidently teach our children to be kind? Can we still firmly tell them to uphold honesty? We seek no bias, only a truth that can withstand scrutiny. This is not just for him, but also for the enduring passion in our hearts and for the bright future of every child.'
The police in Chaoyang District, Beijing, released a vague report that characterised the case of Yu Menglong. In China, most people do not choose to trust the police, as questioning their reports can lead to risks. The Yu Menglong case is riddled with obvious doubts, yet the police have chosen to ignore them, which has quickly fueled the public's long-standing frustration with law enforcement. The public has come to realise that if good is not defended soon, evil forces will engulf the entire world, consuming everyone, with the root cause being those in power.
Many internet users have heard the powerful complaint call made by that bold sister, which has become increasingly inspiring. On December 19, another equally assertive sister conducted a series of probing questions with a minor official on the phone, displaying a commanding presence. In those few minutes, it vividly demonstrated 'who is the master' and 'who is the servant', realising 'the people being the masters of their own affairs'. At that moment, there was no choice but to succumb, but rather a choice to rise up.
During this phone call, a small official in the government transitioned from consistent arrogance and evasion to a state of panic, unable to respond effectively. This shift was not solely due to the articulate and logical nature of the assertive young woman on the other end, but more importantly, because she had psychologically liberated herself from the traditional view that the people are 'servants' and the government is 'the master.' When this dynamic is reversed, the 'master' speaks with confidence, easily overshadowing those small officials who rely on borrowed authority. The most frequently repeated lie by Communist Party officials is, 'We are the public servants of the people.' In truth, these so-called 'public servants' of the Communist Party have largely been exploiting the people, enjoying privileges, while the promise of 'serving the people' remains an empty slogan on the wall.

Water can support a boat, but it can also capsize it.
An astonishing image has been circulating online: countless large hands lifting a small fish, while millions of tiny ants push the fish forward, creating a powerful scene. Some have disdainfully claimed that a hundred million ants cannot create a stir. However, ants possess dignity and freedom; despite their small size, when united, they can indeed topple an elephant. The Communist government treats human life as if it were as insignificant as that of ants, and the ants are eager to test their strength against this elephant. A flickering light from fireflies, when gathered, can shine brightly; when billions of seemingly insignificant fireflies unite, the brilliant light they produce will surely break through the darkness, heralding a new dawn. By that time, not only Yu Menglong, but all those persecuted under the Communist regime will finally achieve the dignity and freedom that every human being deserves, truly becoming the masters of their own country.
