A True Record of China’s Tuidang (Three Withdrawals) Tide and the Overseas “End CCP” Petition Drive

The Global Service Center for Quitting the CCP

[The Dajiyuan] On November 19, 2004, The Dajiyuan published the editorial series Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, which comprehensively and systematically analyzed the CCP’s true history, exposed the lies it had fabricated over a century and the crimes it had committed, and revealed the CCP’s evil essence of waging war against heaven and earth, against humanity, and against the universe. For the first time, the Nine Commentaries pointed out that the CCP is not a political party in the ordinary sense but a cult possessed by an evil spirit, and it clearly stated the historical trend of the CCP heading toward destruction.

Appendix: Illustrated Chronicle of the “Three Withdrawals” (Tuidang) Movement Since the Nine Commentaries

I. The Tide of Global Chinese Quitting the CCP Has Continued for 20 Years

The publication of the Nine Commentaries enabled people to see clearly that the CCP is the root cause of all suffering in Chinese society and sparked a spiritual awakening among Chinese people both inside and outside of China.

In January 2005, the Global Service Center for Quitting the CCP was officially established, and it proposed that July 1 of each year be designated as “Global Quit the CCP Day,” with July designated as “Quit the CCP Month.”

From then on, a mighty tide of quitting the CCP, the Communist Youth League, and the Young Pioneers—known collectively as the “Three Withdrawals”—broke out among Chinese around the world. Every day tens of thousands of people declared their withdrawal. As of August 3 this year, the number of people who had quit surpassed 450 million; by the end of August, the number had reached 451,291,95. Among them, in August alone 1,378,100 people quit, with an average of 44,455 people per day. Compared with July, the number of withdrawals increased by 60,182.

Among all those who quit, there have been veteran Party members, veteran cadres—including high-ranking officials at the provincial and ministerial level—workers, peasants, elites from all walks of society, and even large numbers of people from the military, armed police, and public security.

Twenty-Five Officials at the Central Party School Quit the CCP Collectively

On May 16, 2005, after reading the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, 25 officials from the CCP Central Party School wrote a collective withdrawal statement.

They wrote:

“We are officials from various departments of the CCP Central Party School. Among us are veteran revolutionaries, veteran cadres, veteran Party members, as well as mid- and young-age officials still in office. There are ministers and vice ministers, bureau-level and department-level officials, ordinary section members and staff, and even PhD and master’s degree candidates.”

They further said:

“Because of reasons related to work, life, family, parents, and children, we cannot use our real names, so all of the names of those withdrawing are pseudonyms or aliases. But as far as we know, among the more than two thousand staff members of the CCP Central Party School, if circumstances allowed, 90% of the Party members would withdraw.”

In addition, the “second-generation red” and Central Party School professor Cai Xia, who quit the Party under her real name, stated in her withdrawal declaration that she was very glad to “completely sever ties with this gangster Party.” She described the CCP as a “political zombie,” and said: “Fundamentally, this system must be discarded.”

She publicly denounced the CCP, saying:

“On the surface, the CCP is threatening the free rights of the people of Hong Kong, but in reality, the CCP is threatening the global order and the values of human civilization… From this perspective, the CCP is an enemy of the world, and especially an enemy of human civilization.”

Luo Yu (October 18, 1944 – October 22, 2020), the second son of General Luo Ruiqing, former Chief of the General Staff of the PLA, was a family friend of Xi Jinping’s family. After Xi came to power, Luo Yu published 29 open letters to Xi in Hong Kong newspapers, telling Xi: “The Party has already been reviled by the people. The only path is to democratize.”

During his lifetime, Luo Yu expressed support for the quit-the-CCP movement. He believed the movement was very important and represented the awakening of the Chinese people:

“This great tide of quitting the Party, the Youth League, and the Young Pioneers—I strongly support it. Of course, it’s a good thing! But right now, many people quit anonymously because of the CCP’s threats; they don’t dare to publicly break with it. Yet in their hearts, they know the Communist Party is evil. That is already an enlightening process.”

He also said:

“The CCP has become a corrupt group with no faith, no ideals, and no morality. Today it commits every kind of evil deed. Among them, the persecution of Falun Gong and the crime of harvesting organs from living practitioners for profit are the most brutal.”

High-Ranking Officials Within the System: Tormented by Conscience for Abetting the Tiger

The Quit-the-CCP Center received a withdrawal statement from a CCP official in Jiangxi Province, using the pseudonym “Guangming.” He is a high-ranking official within the CCP system, who understands the Party’s evil more deeply than most. He wrote:

“Sitting in this position, I could summon the wind and rain, but my conscience has never been at peace, always under condemnation. I hereby declare my withdrawal through The Dajiyuan. This is not about leaving myself a way out, but simply to state my true feelings, hoping to receive the forgiveness of the people. Many of the bad things I did were forced by circumstance. I truly hope the CCP will collapse soon and return power to the people, so that I can be freed and live as a dignified, upright person.”

Chinese citizen Sun Fude described himself as once a loyal Communist Party member, holding an important post within the CCP system. He said:

“Although I lived through the Cultural Revolution, I always thought it was just the Gang of Four’s fault, and that this Party could still admit mistakes and correct them. However, the June 4th Incident left me utterly disillusioned! The CCP cannot rationally accept the people’s supervision or kind advice. It has completely and utterly turned into a corrupt scoundrel! Power and profit have become its foundation and sole pursuit!”

Sun Fude further pointed out:

“All of the CCP’s so-called welfare policies and activities for the Chinese people are fundamentally nothing but to secure its own power and maximize its own interests! Especially in recent years, its suppression of Falun Gong and its frenzied, inhumane persecution of kind-hearted people who practice Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance made me fully awake: the Communist Party will surely perish!”

He solemnly declared:

“I hereby quit this evil Party and all its affiliated organizations! I hope the good Chinese people will no longer remain numb, but resist the evil Party and support the righteous Falun Gong practitioners. For the sake of ourselves and our descendants, let us choose to eliminate the evil Party! I firmly believe China’s future will surely be better! (Using an alias, out of helplessness! Angrily!)”

Li Zhi is a Party member and cadre of the CCP. He has worked for over 30 years, serving as township head, town mayor, and top leader of enterprises.

He said:

“I worked desperately hard, and I thought all of my achievements at work were contributions to the great cause of the evil Party. I even felt honored and proud.”

Until recently, after being introduced in detail by friends and reading materials exposing the truth about the CCP’s hidden tyranny, Li Zhi finally realized:

“Turns out, the Communist Party is a dictatorial, arbitrary, violent, murderous, and utterly corrupt cult organization, with no advanced qualities at all. For the sake of its regime, it can execute anyone, overthrow anything. For the sake of its regime, it can deceive, lie, turn black into white, disregard the lives of the people. Wherever the Communist evil Party goes, there is always deceit, lies, wars, famine, dictatorship, tyranny, fear, and killing.”

Li Zhi said bluntly:
“The Communist evil Party’s rule is the most absurd and darkest rule in Chinese history. Now, I have recognized the evil cult and hooligan essence of the Communist evil Party. For this reason, I firmly withdraw from the evil Party and all affiliated organizations.”

“610” Office Official Quits the Party: Apologizing to Those I Harmed

The CCP’s “610 Office” was established on June 10, 1999, specifically to persecute Falun Gong. It spread across all provinces, cities, autonomous regions, and municipalities in China, controlling all levels of public security, procuratorates, courts, judiciary, military, armed police, diplomacy, education, and propaganda institutions. From central to local, it formed a tightly organized, independently operating system, holding absolute power above the political and legal system—monitoring and controlling the populace, penetrating everywhere, and carrying out genocide against Falun Gong.

Sun Ningxin, once an official in the CCP’s “610 Office,” serving in a provincial capital city in southern China, expressed remorse:
“During my time in office, I violated my conscience to suppress Falun Gong, pro-democracy people, and dissidents. Because my political record looked good, I was promoted. As someone who came from a rural background in the countryside and became an armed police officer, I finally recognized the truth that the Communist Party only seeks to eliminate its political enemies without distinguishing right from wrong. I apologize to those I once harmed, and I will dedicate my life to changing China’s political climate.”

Sun Ningxin admitted:
“I want to quit the Communist Party because it is not an advanced organization with ideals, but a filthy den of thieves, a group of vested interests clinging together. President Lincoln once said, ‘To test a man’s character, give him power.’ And today’s Chinese Communist Party has power, with no checks or balances. Even good people will be corrupted by the system—such is human nature.”

He emphasized:
“Only by quitting the Communist Party and breaking free from the Party’s one-dimensional civic indoctrination can we Chinese people possess rational politics and a free future. Do not damage your own conscience for temporary gain. Keep away from the CCP—life becomes purer!”

Sun Ningxin called on the Chinese people:
“Quit the CCP together with me. It’s not about politics—it's about the revival of humanity, the restoration of law and justice, the rebirth of our nation.”

Police Chief Wang Weijie from Jiangxi Province and his wife Wang Meifen jointly declared in their “Three Withdrawals” statement:
“We have long despised the CCP’s ways. Now society has become a hooligan society, and ordinary people can hardly survive. When will the CCP collapse? We are quitting the Communist Party and all its organizations.”

“Yansong” (alias), a police officer from Yishui, Shandong, said:
“I understand that the CCP has no possibility of regeneration. I know well the corruption in the police force and the means of persecuting Falun Gong. As a Chinese, as a people’s policeman, I solemnly declare: I quit the Communist Party, the Communist Youth League, and the Young Pioneers! All vows are null and void!”

“I Want to Quit the Party, I Want a Real Soul”

A citizen signing with the initials H.X.L. declared withdrawal from the Party:
“In real life, I have many concerns. I do not have the courage or ability to break free. But here, I want to make my stance clear. I want to quit the Party. I want a real soul. May God bless China with light, bless all people in the world with health and happiness, and may all living beings on earth find their place and enjoy everlasting peace!”

He said:
“Because my workplace is a government-affiliated institution, I gradually found that if you don’t join the Party, you will be marginalized. I had great enthusiasm for my work and also a desire for promotion, so I joined the Party. As grassroots members, indeed we tried to hold ourselves to high standards in our work and life. For a time, my feelings were happy and beautiful—serving the people was not just a slogan.”

He sighed:
“Until 2018, when Xi Jinping removed the constitutional presidential term limits, my beautiful imagination was shattered. When power at the highest level is completely unrestrained, extremism can occur at any time.”

He shared his deep feelings:
“I felt fear. Then speech became more and more restricted. I felt suffocated. As human beings, telling the truth and doing practical work are the most basic principles. Only truth can lead to kindness, and only kindness can lead to love. I had a strong desire to quit the Party—I even dreamed about it. I want a free soul. I want to truly live.”

Yu Xinzhuo from Fujian Province declared on a quit-the-Party website on August 9, 2025:
“I personally experienced the inhuman Cultural Revolution. That movement caused countless innocent people to lose their homes, families torn apart, yet the CCP took pride in it and has never shown remorse to this day. Later, I was forced into a CCP dog-institution—the Agricultural Bank of China. For decades, I witnessed firsthand how the CCP system deceives the people with lies, squeezes the people’s wealth with power, and maintains rule through violence.

The CCP’s history is a history of blood and lies: the famine that starved tens of millions during the Great Leap Forward; the ideological persecution of the Anti-Rightist Campaign; the ten-year catastrophe of the Cultural Revolution; the bloody crackdown of June Fourth; the high-pressure rule in Xinjiang and Tibet. I feel endless indignation at the CCP’s crimes and deep shame for having once been inside its system. Now, as I approach retirement, after deep thought, I solemnly declare: From today, I quit the CCP, the Youth League, and the Young Pioneers. Through this declaration, I express my pursuit of freedom, truth, and humanity, and I call on more people to recognize the CCP’s nature, break free from its shackles, and let our nation regain light and dignity.”

Liu Boyuan in Beijing declared on August 12 on a quit-the-Party website:
“To those persecuted by the CCP, this is my heartfelt confession: I have met many Falun Dafa practitioners online. They are kind-hearted and willing to help others. Yet such good people have long been slandered, defamed, arrested, tortured, and even killed by the CCP. The CCP fears people having faith and conscience, because that would expose its lies.”

He said:
“To the CCP, people’s lives, dignity, and beliefs mean nothing. The only thing it cares about is maintaining its dictatorship. I grew up in Shijiazhuang, Hebei, and saw with my own eyes how black police and gangs colluded to oppress the people. My family ran a childcare center in Baoding and was constantly extorted by the commerce, fire, food and drug, and tax departments. They never cared about children’s safety or parents’ needs—they only wanted money. When I went to school in Beijing, I was trapped in the CCP’s brainwashing education. From textbooks to classrooms, everything was filled with praise of the Party and the leader. Any different voice would be suppressed. In high school, everyone was required to join the Youth League, and I was forced to join. But over the years, all I saw were the CCP’s cold-blooded atrocities: from the Tiananmen Massacre to Jiangyou police violently beating peaceful petitioners. The CCP’s iron fist has never spared anyone—students, workers, elderly, women—all could be targets. In the eyes of the CCP, people are only tools to exploit and sacrifice. I don’t want, and will not, have anything to do with such an organization.

I solemnly declare: I quit the Communist Youth League and the Young Pioneers, and will never join the Chinese Communist Party. I will never side with evil. Only by disintegrating the CCP can China have light, and the people have dignity. Heaven will destroy the CCP. Quitting the Party, Youth League, and Young Pioneers ensures safety!”

II. “End CCP” Petition Nearing 5 Million Signatures

The "End CCP" initiative, already signed by co-signers, fills up a small cart. (Provided by the Tuidang Center)

Launched by the Global Quit the CCP Service Center in June 2020, the “End CCP” global petition has, after five years, reached 4.98 million signatures as of September 14, 2025, soon to hit the historic milestone of 5 million.

The “End CCP” initiative (Eliminate the Demon Chinese Communist Party) began in June 2020, during the global outbreak of COVID-19 that originated in Wuhan, China. Hidden, covered up, and lied about by the CCP, the pandemic spread worldwide, causing countless infections and deaths, lockdowns, social distancing, and shutdowns, inflicting grave disaster on people’s lives and property everywhere. At this critical time, the Global Quit the CCP Center pointed out that the virus was in fact the “CCP virus,” and that the CCP was the culprit behind the pandemic. They called on everyone to “End the CCP demon” and stay away from the CCP virus.

The End CCP petition statement highlighted:
“CCP Lied, People Died.” The terror caused by the CCP has spread globally and affects everyone.

It listed the CCP’s crimes against humanity:

  • The ten-year catastrophe of the Cultural Revolution;

  • Endless political campaigns;

  • The Great Leap Forward famine that killed 30–50 million;

  • The One-Child Policy that killed 400 million babies;

  • The 1989 Tiananmen Massacre of students and civilians;

  • The persecution of Falun Gong, including forced organ harvesting;

  • The persecution of Uyghurs, Tibetans, Hongkongers, Christians, Buddhists, and all believers;

  • While exporting communist ideology abroad, the CCP built the Great Firewall at home, blocking all truth and poisoning Chinese minds with lies.

The petition stressed:
Evil will not restrain itself or stop on its own. To remain silent in the face of such tyranny is to enable more crimes. Every person who values justice and human dignity has the responsibility to demand the CCP’s disintegration and to “End the CCP demon.”

Wang Zhiyuan, chairman of the Global Quit the CCP Center, said:
“Rejecting the CCP and purging the communist specter is the common wish of the world. The CCP is not an ordinary political party—it is a state terrorist organization, a demon. It doesn’t just persecute the Chinese people—it is the enemy of the world. End CCP is how Westerners express their awakening and rejection of evil. It is a way for all humanity to end the CCP’s reign of terror. Ending the CCP is a responsibility and a hope shared by all mankind.”

The “End CCP” petition is not a political movement, but a moral struggle and a human awakening.

Spreading End CCP in Many Forms, Strong Response Across Ethnicities

After the initiative was launched, it was widely welcomed in the U.S. and many countries. Signatures spread rapidly worldwide, with people of different ethnicities signing online in different languages every day.

Volunteers actively spread the End CCP message in all kinds of ways.

At first, volunteers in New York organized weekly End CCP car parades, while also collecting signatures in communities, squares, parks, beaches, scenic spots, and shopping centers, making the “End CCP demon” message known everywhere.

In New York City, for example, every day volunteers could be seen collecting signatures at subway stations, squares, scenic spots, and commercial streets, while also spreading the message through social media and websites.

One New Yorker even knelt down to sign the End CCP petition in front of the Flushing Library.

Citizens enthusiastically signed. People of all ethnic backgrounds added their names.

Volunteer Xu Jinghua said:
“In the signature drives, as soon as people hear ‘Communist Party,’ they already know it’s bad—they show disgust and rejection. So often, when they see ‘Disintegrate the Evil CCP’ on the signature board, they sign without hesitation. Because this is a matter of great right and wrong. The people, with clear moral judgment, already have the answer in their hearts. Signing just gives them a chance to express it. That’s why wherever we go, we always get signatures.”

She added:
“‘Disintegrating the CCP’ is a shared human desire, just buried deep. Now the Quit the CCP Center provides a platform, giving people the long-awaited chance to express it. America is a nation of many ethnicities, and in the signature drives we discovered how many different groups have been poisoned by communism firsthand.”

“End the CCP Demon” Car Tours Across the U.S.

The Global Service Center for Quitting the CCP organized “End the CCP Demon” car tours across America. The mighty convoys were spectacular and eye-catching. Volunteers of End CCP in many countries followed suit, adopting this unique approach to spread the message.

In February 2020, the Global Service Center for Quitting the CCP first organized an End CCP car convoy in neighborhoods of New York City. Later, the scale of the convoys grew larger and larger. By September 2021, the Center began organizing nationwide car tours across America with the theme “End the CCP Demon.”

The United States is known as a “nation on wheels.” These convoys, traveling on highways and through scenic sites, spread the message “End the CCP Demon” across America, forming a moving “Great Wall of Truth.” Messages such as “The CCP is the real source of the virus,” “Stay away from the CCP, stay away from the plague,” “Reject the CCP, stay away from the CCP virus,” “The CCP lies, people die,” and “Communism puts everyone in danger” were carried by the convoys and delivered nationwide.

Along the way, the car tours received many thumbs-up and expressions of support. Many tourists and local residents were moved upon seeing the convoys. Besides signing their names, some even joined by holding banners and chanting “End CCP!” with the volunteers. Some people called the Quitting the CCP Center after seeing the convoys on the road to express joy and gratitude, with some asking to join the tours. Many people took photos and posted them on social media, further amplifying the effect.

From September 2021 to November 2024, in three years, the End CCP convoys held six nationwide tours, involving more than 100 vehicles in total. These vehicles carried large End CCP display boards and traveled across all 50 states, reaching as far as Alaska, Hawaii, and Key West—the southernmost tip of the continental United States.

America’s vast highways became the volunteers’ stage for spreading the truth. In Salt Lake City, Utah, the convoy was even welcomed by state legislator Kay J. Christofferson.

The End CCP petition received broad support, with signatures rising steadily. Within one year of its launch, on June 5, 2021, signatures surpassed one million. Less than a year later, in March 2022, signatures surpassed two million. By May 2023, they exceeded 3.5 million. Two years later, another two million signatures were added, and the total is now approaching five million.

III. CCP’s Persecution of “Three Quit” Volunteers

The publication of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party revealed the CCP’s evil nature, awakening Chinese citizens to recognize the CCP as a demon harming humanity. Chinese people voluntarily printed and widely distributed the Nine Commentaries, exposing the CCP’s crimes, and many volunteered to help others quit the CCP, Communist Youth League, and Young Pioneers. Falun Gong practitioners became the backbone of these “Three Quit volunteers.” For this reason, the CCP has used every means to persecute them.

According to Minghui.org’s Human Rights Report, Falun Gong practitioners in China are deprived not only of freedom of belief, speech, and assembly, but also of residency, employment, education, and even the basic right to life.

Simply acknowledging oneself as a Falun Gong practitioner leads to immediate loss of livelihood and security. They are arbitrarily detained, extorted, and have their homes ransacked. They may be expelled from schools or jobs, and denied social welfare. Families are raided and left without electricity or water. Worse still, many practitioners are tortured in prisons, labor camps, detention centers, brainwashing centers, drug rehab facilities, and psychiatric hospitals, leading to deaths, disability, or insanity. Many—especially women—have suffered sexual assault.

Over the past twenty years, the CCP has used both overt and covert methods of persecution—ranging from thuggery and bribery to infiltration of civil society—seeking to maintain Falun Gong practitioners as one of the most vilified and marginalized groups in China.

Minghui.org reports that between July 20, 1999, and July 10, 2019, at least 2.5 to 3 million arrests of Falun Gong practitioners took place (counting repeat arrests).

Millions of petitioning practitioners have also been arrested. To avoid implicating family or colleagues, many concealed their identities, only to be transferred into secret camps, where they became live subjects of brutal experiments, or organ sources for forced organ harvesting, with mutilated bodies cremated immediately. This portion of victims is not yet fully documented.

Because this persecution involves the CCP’s party, state, military, medical, and judicial systems colluding for profit, the regime has consistently concealed its crimes and tightly sealed information. Therefore, the cases documented on Minghui.org represent only a fraction of the full picture.

The report shows persecution is nationwide, affecting all provinces, all walks of life, and all demographics—from babies to people in their nineties, including the elderly, disabled, pregnant women, and minors.

Torture methods used include:

  • Physical Torture: beatings, whipping, dragging, forced sitting, freezing, aggravating wounds, use of animals to torment, etc.

  • Electric and Fire Torture: electric shocks, burning, scalding, hot water pouring, hot oil burning, roasting, steaming, etc.

  • Psychological & Drug Abuse: forced drugging, mental torture, sleep deprivation, prohibition of restroom use, forced abortions, sexual abuse, etc.

  • Binding and Hanging: straitjackets, single-hand cuff suspension, double-hand cuff suspension, door-frame suspension, wire suspension, iron ring suspension, stretching, upside-down hanging, etc.

  • Cuff Torture: hand-foot shackling, leg-locking, “big back cuffing” (different variations), floor-rings, prolonged bed shackling, piercing shackles, thumb shackles, single/double/multiple-person cuffs, stretching shackles, etc.

  • Other Tortures: stretching racks, starvation, stabbing, water torture, solitary confinement, forced labor, etc.

Over 100 types of torture have been documented. To this day, many “Three Quit” volunteers are still being arrested, detained, sentenced, beaten, and even subjected to forced organ harvesting.

Some Tortures Inflicted by CCP Labor Camps on Falun Gong Practitioners. (Epoch Times Database)

The CCP's methods of torturing Falun Gong practitioners have exceeded more than a hundred kinds. To this day, "Tuidang" volunteers are continuously being arrested, detained, sentenced, and beaten, and some may even have their organs harvested while alive. The following focuses on the situation in August this year. According to incomplete information disclosed by Minghui.org, in August alone, at least 315 Falun Gong practitioners were abducted, 147 people were harassed, and 35 people were illegally sentenced. Among them, there are no shortage of elderly people over eighty years old who were also sentenced, imprisoned, fined, and had their homes ransacked. Some practitioners have been persecuted to death unjustly. Below are some typical cases listed.

67-Year-Old Qi Ling in Wuhan City Sentenced Unjustly to Three Years and Nine Months

Minghui.org reported on August 12, 2025, that 67-year-old Falun Gong practitioner Qi Ling in Wuhan City was illegally sentenced to three years and nine months on August 4, 2025. Her family is dissatisfied and has appealed. She is currently possibly still detained in Wuhan City's No. 1 Detention Center.

On the evening of June 5, 2024, Qi Ling was reported by a delivery person who recorded her while she was telling the truth and advising "Tuidang" in the neighborhood. The next morning, three police from Guandong Police Station failed to wait in ambush, but came to the door again in the evening. After cutting off water and electricity, they broke in, ransacked the home, seized computers, mobile phones, and other items, and abducted Qi Ling and detained her.

On March 26, 2025, Hongshan District Court illegally held a trial, where Qi Ling and her lawyer both made innocent defenses; on August 4, she was still unjustly sentenced to three years and nine months. In the past, she had been abducted multiple times, persecuted in brainwashing classes, and subjected to labor re-education and sentencing. In December 2016, she was unjustly sentenced to three and a half years for advising "Tuidang."

Hubei's Shan Furong Still Abducted After Unjust Prison Term Ends

Minghui.org reported on August 12, 2025, that 62-year-old Falun Gong practitioner Shan Furong from Laohekou City, Xiangyang City, was unjustly sentenced to four and a half years for telling the truth, and was persecuted in Shayang Fanjiatai Prison to the point of losing sight in both eyes. On July 5, 2025, her sentence ended, but she was directly abducted by the Political and Legal Affairs Commission to Sujiahe Nursing Home, turned into secret detention, and her family has been unable to pick her up to this day.

Shan Furong has been abducted multiple times over the years and detained for more than ten years, enduring torture and nearly losing her life. His wife was forced to divorce, and his 86-year-old mother passed away at the end of 2022 due to excessive worry, unable to see her son one last time.

Yao Jiaxiu in Panzhihua City Unjustly Sentenced Again to Five Years

Minghui.org reported on August 10, 2025, that 58-year-old Falun Gong practitioner Yao Jiaxiu from Panzhihua City, Sichuan Province, was abducted by Luzhou police while on the run in September 2024 and detained in Xichang City Detention Center; on August 1, 2025, she was illegally sentenced by Xichang Court to five years and extorted a fine of 20,000 yuan. This is her third time being sentenced.

Yao Jiaxiu was sentenced to three years in 2001 and nine years again in 2006, enduring long-term torture in prison. After release, she was still monitored and harassed, forced to flee, but was subjected to "online pursuit." She has repeatedly suffered tortures such as hanging in handcuffs, beatings, and barbaric force-feeding, with her body and mind severely devastated.

Kunming's Yan Derong Secretly Sentenced to Five and a Half Years

Minghui.org reported on August 10, 2025, that 64-year-old Falun Gong practitioner Yan Derong in Kunming City was abducted and her home ransacked on August 16, 2023, and recently illegally sentenced by Xishan District Court to five years and six months. This is her third time being sentenced.

Yan Derong recovered from multiple illnesses after practicing Dafa in 2008, but has repeatedly suffered persecution: sentenced to three years in 2011, and five years again in 2017 with a fine of 10,000 yuan. This time, she was reported for telling the truth to students and suffered heavy sentencing again.

Jiangsu's Wang Jian Illegally Sentenced Again

Minghui.org reported on August 10, 2025, that 57-year-old Falun Gong practitioner Wang Jian (Wang Jian) from Taicang City, Jiangsu, was abducted and detained on August 11, 2024, and later framed to Zhangjiagang Court. On July 30, 2025, he was unjustly sentenced to one and a half years and has now appealed.

Wang Jian has benefited physically and mentally since practicing Dafa in 1997, and his mother's serious illness was also cured. Over more than twenty years, due to persisting in his faith, he has been abducted multiple times, subjected to labor re-education, and sentenced twice, cumulatively detained for more than ten years, and has endured tortures such as electric shocks and being nailed to a door board.

86-Year-Old Ma Junting Persecuted to Death in Jinan Women's Prison

Minghui.org reported on August 13, 2025, that Ma Junting, a retired senior engineer from Shandong University of Science and Technology and an 86-year-old Falun Gong practitioner, was persecuted to death on August 7, 2025.

Ma Junting was sentenced to probation in 2019, but in 2025, the authorities used the pretext of "community execution invalidated" to forcibly send her to Jinan Women's Prison. In just two months, she was persecuted to the point of coma and passed away shortly after.

She had been abducted and illegally sentenced multiple times over the years due to practicing Dafa. In 2020, she was even expelled by Shandong University of Science and Technology, deprived of her pension and medical insurance, falling into hardship, and her spouse also passed away due to intimidation.

IV. New York Community Leaders Support Chinese People's "Tuidang" Movement

On August 10, at a rally in Flushing, New York, celebrating the global exit from the CCP breaking through 450 million people, former New York State Lieutenant Governor, senior health policy and constitutional scholar, and founding member of the "Save New York City" organization, Dr. Betsy McCaughey, stated in her speech: "The threat of communism is not only far away in China—it is right in front of us. The CCP is here, in the United States, using secret means to persecute Chinese people." "This is a global threat. We see its influence trying to infiltrate our institutions, our schools, even our government."

She also said: "The CCP is evil, they should not be allowed to operate in the United States. They are violent, they are evil, they use secret ways to sabotage, they should be arrested and deported." If she is elected governor, "The CCP will be expelled from this state! Expel it mercilessly! We will not tolerate it."

Martha Flores-Vazquez, a longtime strong supporter of the Tuidang movement and Democratic community leader of the 40th District of the New York State Assembly, spoke at the rally, saying that exiting the CCP is creating a new world without communist oppression. "450 million Chinese exiting the CCP is an important milestone in the world's resistance to CCP tyranny. Exiting the CCP has become the largest grassroots movement in human history, upholding conscience, dignity, and truth in a peaceful way."

"The Tuidang movement is thriving, representing a peaceful transformation rooted in personal awakening and moral courage, offering a new vision of a world without communist oppression."

Martha also pointed out: "Despite the CCP's continued suppression of freedom of speech, religious persecution, infiltration of global institutions, and recent escalation of transnational repression, global awareness of the threat of CCP authoritarianism is constantly increasing, highlighting the urgency of ending its tyranny."

Martha also presented a commendation to the Tuidang Center at the same time. The commendation announcement stated: "Whereas 'The Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party' enables people around the world to critically recognize the Communist Party, particularly the deceptive nature and reign of terror of the Chinese Communist Party; whereas the Tuidang movement is coordinated globally by the Global Tuidang Service Center located in New York and has now become the largest grassroots movement in human history, uniting people from all walks of life to defend conscience, dignity, and truth in a peaceful manner; whereas as of August 2025, the number of people exiting the CCP has exceeded 450 million, marking an important milestone in global anti-communist efforts; whereas global awareness of the threat of CCP authoritarianism is deepening, highlighting the urgency of ending its tyranny, as the international community recognizes the CCP's continued suppression of freedom of speech, religious persecution, infiltration of global institutions, and recent escalation of transnational repression, particularly within the United States; whereas the growing momentum of the Tuidang movement represents a peaceful transformation rooted in personal awakening and moral courage, providing a new vision for a world without communist oppression.

Therefore, I hereby acknowledge the Tuidang movement, celebrate the 450 million Chinese people who have bravely detached from the Chinese Communist Party, and praise the moral courage and commitment to truth and freedom of all participants in this peaceful movement."

New York Human Rights Lawyer: The Tuidang Movement is the Best Way to Disintegrate the CCP

On August 10, renowned New York human rights lawyer Ye Ning spoke at the rally celebrating 450 million people exiting the CCP, Communist Youth League, and Young Pioneers, pointing out that the totalitarian politics generated from the evil seeds sown by Satan Marx poses a harm to free humanity that has never been as severe, as real, or as close as it is today. Currently, war is not an effective means to defeat and eliminate the communist totalitarian system. The Tuidang movement uses innovative wisdom of higher-dimensional iteration to peacefully disintegrate the CCP, resolving difficulties and freeing the Chinese nation, and clearing obstacles for the sustainable development of human civilization.

Ye Ning had previously stated in an interview with a Tuidang Center reporter that the Chinese Communist Party is a fascist centralized party that is anti-humanity, anti-human nature, and anti-civilization. The movement to exit the CCP, Communist Youth League, and Young Pioneers saves all Chinese people, and this movement is extremely great. "The Tuidang movement is a monument in human history. It would not be excessive to award it ten Nobel Peace Prizes."

Democracy Activist Sheng Xue: The First Step Toward Independent Personality is to Leave the CCP

Sheng Xue, Vice Chairman of the Democratic China Front in exile in Canada, stated in an interview with an Epoch Times reporter that "The Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party" is the "Devil Terminator," which can explain how people truly recognize the Communist Party and escape fear of it.

She said, "The facts, truths, and principles revealed by 'The Nine Commentaries' awaken many people suddenly. When people have the courage to leave the Communist Party and exit the Communist Party, they can become independent and autonomous individuals with their own personality, dignity, and independent thinking ability, and only then can they pursue freedom, democracy, and rule of law. This is a beginning, so it is particularly important."

Sheng Xue believes, "The CCP turns people into non-humans, into communist people. The Tuidang movement and 'The Nine Commentaries' aim to return people to at least being natural persons, normal people, people with compassion and kindness. So the Tuidang movement can truly be said to be a redemption for many people."

"Chinese people need to become individuals with independent personalities themselves; the first step is to leave the Communist Party. Therefore, this Tuidang is extremely important."
