Wang Yi's Plea for Mercy Has Its Reasons

[People News] The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is currently convening its two sessions in Beijing, and during this time, CCP Foreign Minister Wang Yi took an action that did not enhance the CCP's reputation but instead caused it to lose face on the global stage.

According to a statement from the CCP's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on March 3, Wang Yi had a phone conversation with Israeli Foreign Minister Eli Cohen. Wang Yi conveyed to Cohen that China has consistently advocated for resolving international and regional issues through dialogue and consultation, and that China opposes military strikes by Israel and the United States against Iran.

Following this, Wang Yi elaborated on the true purpose of the call. He candidly stated, "Military force cannot genuinely resolve issues; rather, it creates new problems and serious repercussions. The true value of military power lies not on the battlefield, but in the prevention of war. China calls for an immediate halt to military actions to prevent the conflict from escalating uncontrollably."

Wang Yi's comments seem to reflect a plea from Israel to the United States, suggesting that the CCP is unwilling to confront the U.S. directly. This behaviour by Wang Yi is rooted in the recent events where Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro was captured alive by the U.S. in his bedroom, and Iranian leader Ali Khamenei was directly targeted by U.S. airstrikes. It is noteworthy that both Venezuela and Iran have acquired Chinese-made air defense systems, and these incidents serve as evidence that the CCP's weaponry is merely ornamental—appealing in appearance but ineffective in practice, completely incapable of standing up to the U.S. If the CCP continues its wolf warrior diplomacy and provokes the U.S., even if Xi Jinping were to dig tunnels daily, he would not be able to evade the U.S.'s precise decapitation tactics.

Many internet users couldn't help but ridicule Wang Yi's comments, stating, 'Now the whole world knows that your products are worthless,' 'Aren't military exercises supposed to be impressive?
