New Year’s Blessings: Mainland Chinese People Thank Master Li for Saving Their Lives

[People News] As the New Year of 2026 arrives, people in mainland China have sent greeting cards and messages to Master Li Hongzhi through Minghui.org, wishing Master Li a happy New Year, thanking him for saving their lives, and expressing their belief in and support for Falun Gong.

They have witnessed the miraculous power of Dafa. A man in his nineties sincerely recited the nine-character mantra—“Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good”—and survived a life-and-death crisis during the pandemic; an elderly woman suffering from cancer recited the nine-character mantra, and her stubborn illness disappeared.

Some family members of Falun Gong practitioners said that after their loved ones practiced Falun Gong, their illnesses were cured and they gained a new life. Therefore, they sincerely support Falun Gong, support their relatives’ cultivation, and believe that Falun Dafa is good.

A businessman from Xingtai City, Hebei Province, kowtowed in thanks to Master Li, saying: “In this restless and noisy world, your teachings are of immeasurable value to me. Thank you!”

A businessman from Zhaoyuan, Shandong Province, sighed: “If officials all acted according to Dafa, society wouldn’t be like this, and ordinary people would have an easier life. I believe Falun Gong will surely succeed.”

A seventy-year-old woman from Panzhihua, Sichuan Province, thanked Master Li for saving her life, saying: “Everyone is looking forward to the day when Master Li returns to mainland China.”

Sincerely Reciting the “Nine-Character Mantra” Turns Danger into Safety

A retired cadre from Jinan, Shandong Province, thanked Master Li Hongzhi for saving his life. He said that he suddenly became seriously ill this year and underwent surgery in the hospital. Doctors said his condition was severe and told his family not to inform him. One of his relatives who practices Falun Gong, while accompanying him, kept asking him to sincerely recite the “nine-character mantra”—“Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” Whenever he was conscious, he recited it. After staying in the hospital for more than twenty days, he returned home.

Two months later, he went back to the hospital for a checkup. The doctor said his recovery was quite good and that there was no longer any danger to his life. He said: “This is all because I believed in Dafa and sincerely recited ‘Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.’ Dafa’s Master saved my life. Thank you, Dafa’s Master.”

A 92-year-old rural woman from Shandong said she had been a devout Christian for decades. This spring, a cancerous tumor grew at her right temple near the corner of her eye. It often oozed blood, grew larger and larger, and caused swelling pain in her head and blurred vision. Doctors said that due to her advanced age, it could not be treated. She knelt every day, praying for God’s protection.

Later, at the urging of a relative who practices Falun Gong, she began reciting the “nine-character mantra” every day. Two months later, the tumor gradually shrank until it disappeared. Her head no longer hurt, her eyesight became clear, and she could eat normally again. She said: “It is all thanks to Dafa’s Master for saving me. I have decided to believe only in Dafa and continue reciting ‘Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good’ every day.”

A 76-year-old woman from Panzhihua City, Sichuan Province, developed many small tumors on her forehead in the first half of this year. She sincerely recited the “nine-character mantra” every day, and two months later, all the small tumors disappeared.

She said: “Here I kowtow to thank Master Li for saving my life! Now, sincerely and silently reciting ‘Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good’ every day has already become a part of my life. Everyone is looking forward to the day when Master Li returns to mainland China.”

A retired political work cadre from Shuangyashan City, Heilongjiang Province, is 96 years old this year. He said that he had been a secretary of the evil party all his life and, influenced by atheism, did not believe in the miraculous nature of Falun Dafa. During the pandemic, he fell into a coma for three nights and four full days. His daughter, who practices Falun Gong, played Dafa music, Pudu, for him for three days, and he woke up.

He said, “Thank you, Master Li, for saving me! Over these past few years, I have had three major serious illnesses. Each time, my daughter recited ‘Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good’ in my ear, and Master Li saved me! When I regained consciousness, I would recite it myself three times, and I would basically be completely well. Thank you, Master Li, for saving me! I wish Master Li a happy New Year!”

Witnessing the Miraculous Nature of Dafa

A young couple from Nong’an County, Changchun City, Jilin Province, wrote: “We respect Master Li and believe in Dafa. Our mother is a Dafa disciple. Before cultivating, she was plagued by serious illnesses; after cultivating, her body became light and healthy. For 28 years, she has not taken medicine or received injections. Every day she happily studies the Fa, practices the exercises, and saves people. Thank you, Master Li, for giving my mother a second life. We will, as always, support our mother’s cultivation and support Dafa.”

A family member of a Falun Gong practitioner from Xi’an, Shaanxi Province, said that his mother began practicing Falun Gong in 1995, and soon all her illnesses disappeared. Although he and his father do not practice, they have always firmly believed in the Master and in Dafa and supported his mother’s cultivation.

He said that after Jiang Zemin of the Chinese Communist Party slandered Dafa on July 20, 1999, he did not watch television for several months. In 2000, his mother was detained in a provincial women’s forced labor camp. The first time he went to see his mother, prison guards told him and his father to persuade her to “transform” (give up cultivation). When he saw his mother, the first thing he asked was, “Have you transformed?” His mother answered, “No.” He said, “Good! You must not transform. I’ll treat it as if you’ve gone on a long trip, and I’ll come see you once a month.”

At that time, he was in the final semester of his fourth year of university. After graduation, he was the first in his class to find a job. His mother said it was the Master who helped him. He said: “I also believe it was the Master who helped me.” He said, “For 30 years, our whole family has firmly believed in the Master. Thank you, Master!”

A family member of a Falun Gong practitioner from Chiping District, Liaocheng City, Shandong Province, wrote: “Hello, Master. I am a family member of a Dafa disciple. Although I have not entered Dafa cultivation, I believe in Dafa and believe in everything the Master teaches. I have also bathed in the light of the Fa and benefited infinitely. I once entered a detention center to protect my Dafa-practitioner family member, and in three life-and-death ordeals, the compassionate Master saved me. As the New Year arrives, I gaze toward the Master and kowtow three times, grateful to the Master!”

An eighty-year-old man from Nong’an County, Changchun City, Jilin Province, said: “That year, my wife had heart failure, and the doctor said her life was in danger at any time. At that moment, she obtained Dafa, and before she even learned the exercises, her illness was cured. She could go to work, do housework, and take care of the children. I am grateful to Master Li for giving me a complete family. I firmly support my wife’s cultivation of Dafa. Thank you, Master Li!”
