[People News] On September 11 this year, Chinese actor Yu Menglong fell from a building to his death at the age of 37. Netizens dug up a large amount of footage revealing that Yu Menglong died as a sacrifice. Moreover, Yu Menglong had suffered more than ten years of brutal abuse before his death, and behind the murderer stood the Chinese Communist Party and its agent Tianyu Media, as well as several top Chinese Communist Party elite families. This triggered a wave of netizens at home and abroad joining forces to seek justice for Yu Menglong. At the same time, many netizens recognized the evil nature of the CCP through Yu Menglong’s tragic experience, thereby setting off a wave of “three withdrawals” (quitting the CCP’s evil Party, Youth League, and Young Pioneers organizations).

In addition, many netizens, while learning about Yu Menglong’s case through The Dajiyuan, NTD, and other media, changed their past misunderstandings of The Dajiyuan and Falun Gong, and became fond of The Dajiyuan and Falun Gong. As a result, many netizens publicly apologized to The Dajiyuan and Falun Gong.

Recently, on the social platform “Threads,” a wave of discussion has emerged among Taiwanese netizens expressing “apologies” to The Dajiyuan and Falun Gong. Several netizens posted one after another, confessing that in the past, when they saw The Dajiyuan’ reporting on the CCP’s persecution of Falun Gong, they found it extremely cruel—especially the truth of live organ harvesting, which was too brutal, shocking, and difficult to accept—leading them to misunderstand The Dajiyuan. Their views changed only recently after being exposed to more information. These posts triggered many responses and shares.

According to The Dajiyuan, the netizen account “koolcuppy” posted on November 28, saying, “I used to think The Dajiyuan was an XX media outlet, but now I realize it's a truth-telling media.” The post received more than 20,000 “heart” reactions.

The next day, a netizen “eeminuan” pointed out that operating a physical newspaper is not easy, “especially if you want to tell the truth, because that may touch the interests of certain groups.” They also mentioned that even after the implementation of the Hong Kong National Security Law, The Dajiyuan in Hong Kong still continued to sell physical newspapers at newsstands, “even when reporters were beaten, the printing plant smashed, and threats and intimidation continued, they still persisted,” also noting that the paper is still available at I-Mei stores in Taiwan.

Netizen “wendy._.1202” posted on November 30, recalling that she had posted back in April that when she saw related scenes in front of Taipei 101 in the past, she thought it was “too bloody and exaggerated,” until a large amount of information appeared recently, “and only then did I realize how terrifying the facts were.” She proactively shared related video links to help spread awareness.

Netizen “jazzmi_liu” used several comments to organize their understanding of the persecution of Falun Gong, mentioning “the CCP suppressing Falun Gong,” “from fake news smearing to ordering its elimination,” “including torture and live organ harvesting,” and said that they came to understand this further by reading The Dajiyuan reports: “There is truly deep water behind it.”

“john_hign__wicky” wrote, “The old me: (thought) The Dajiyuan was writing horror novels, impossible; the current me: The Dajiyuan is already very mild.”

Netizen “weiweichen44” posted on November 28: “I also awakened only after the Yu Menglong case. Around 9/12 I heard the audio file—what you might call the first version. At that time it felt like a bucket of ice water was poured from my head down; my whole body froze. And the developments over the next few days completely overturned my view of the CCP. After that I absorbed perspectives from The Dajiyuan, Li Muyang, Dayu, Jiang Feng, etc., and finally came to understand the demonic cult organization—the devil-CCP. Live organ harvesting, body plastination, powerful people bending the law, telecom fraud parks, etc.—all are real, completely destroying the three views and anti-human… The Dajiyuan, thank you for your hard work.”

Other netizens mentioned that after reading Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party they gained a different understanding of the CCP system. Some recalled seeing related reports from The Dajiyuan even before the Wuhan pneumonia outbreak, “and have been following it ever since.”

“v12_maniac” said, “The Dajiyuan used to always write about Falun Gong practitioners having their organs harvested. I didn’t bother reading it at all. Now I carefully read the content of their reports. (The Dajiyuan) is basically a prophetic newspaper.”

Some netizens expressed reflection and well wishes, with one commenting, “May the heavenly way restore justice to that land.” Another said outright, “The Dajiyuan is a world-class media of conscience.”

This wave of “apology” posts—from personal reflection, years of observation, to recent re-understanding—has sparked large-scale interaction and sharing on Threads, showing that related topics continue to attract high attention in online communities.

In addition, in April this year, Taiwan’s online communities also saw a wave of apologies toward The Dajiyuan and Falun Gong, triggered by renewed discussion surrounding China’s organ transplant controversies. These discussions spread to Facebook, PTT, and other platforms, with some netizens calling for renewed attention on the transparency of the CCP’s organ transplant system, and stating that their past misunderstandings of The Dajiyuan and Falun Gong stemmed from a long-term lack of in-depth understanding of these issues.

One of the triggers was that CCP state media high-profile reported that the Second Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University School of Medicine had completed a “simultaneous heart-liver joint transplant” for Taiwanese singer Lu Jianzhong (Tank), sparking strong doubts among Taiwanese netizens regarding the source of the organs.

Some netizens recalled that years ago they were “unwilling to believe” or “thought it too exaggerated” when The Dajiyuan long reported on the CCP’s live organ harvesting. But as this incident and more evidence surfaced, they began to re-examine the information, with some saying, “It turns out the truth is even more terrifying than imagined,” and then proactively launching a “Apologize to The Dajiyuan” initiative on social media.

On Threads, netizen “Dianayjlin” posted on April 8, noting that the singer going to China for a heart-liver transplant raised numerous “unbelievable questions,” including that some transplant experts had previously published hundreds of liver-transplant cases that international journals rejected because they could not explain the organ sources. The CCP alternately claimed that organs came from executed prisoners or from donations, with inconsistent explanations leading to suspicion. She said she previously thought The Dajiyuan “was bluffing,” but now sees that “the truth is even more absurd than imagined,” and thus decided to launch the “Apologize to The Dajiyuan” activity.

The initiative quickly spread across social platforms, with many netizens responding, saying that as children they were half-skeptical of Falun Gong practitioners’ street protests and organ-harvesting billboards, even thinking they “couldn’t possibly be real,” until in recent years they gradually encountered more information and realized the seriousness of the situation. Others said, “Ten years ago no one wanted to believe it, because live organ harvesting destroys humanity.” Some comments also pointed out that The Dajiyuan has continued exposing these matters for years: “It’s terrifying—but it’s the real truth.”
