[People News] Two Chinese spouses in Taiwan, known online as "Xiaowei" and "Enqi", were ordered to leave the island after making statements advocating for China’s military unification of Taiwan. Enqi voluntarily departed on Monday (March 31), while Xiaowei failed to leave before the deadline and was forcibly deported.

According to Radio Free Asia, Taiwan’s National Immigration Agency (NIA) stated that Zhao, who goes by the online alias "Xiaowei", and Zhang, known as "Enqi", had repeatedly posted content on Douyin (the Chinese version of TikTok) waving China’s national flag and declaring that “Taiwan is an inseparable part of China.” Due to their pro-unification rhetoric, they were given until March 31 to leave Taiwan.

While Enqi left voluntarily on Monday at around 6 PM, Xiaowei failed to comply with the deadline. As a result, the NIA convened a meeting on Tuesday (April 1) and decided to forcibly deport her that afternoon.

According to United Daily News, the NIA initially booked Xiaowei on China Airlines Flight CI-503 to Shanghai, scheduled for 4:30 PM on April 1. However, after further discussions with her, she was instead placed on China Airlines Flight CI-521, departing for Guangzhou at 2:10 PM.

Taiwan Immigration Authorities: Strict Law Enforcement to Safeguard National Security

The NIA reiterated its firm stance against any individuals who publicly advocate for military aggression or the eradication of Taiwan’s sovereignty. The agency emphasized that it will strictly enforce the law to protect national security and maintain social stability.

Another Chinese spouse in Taiwan, known online as "Yaya in Taiwan", whose real name is Liu Zhenya, was also ordered to leave for similar remarks. Initially refusing to comply, Liu eventually returned to Fuzhou on Tuesday (March 25).
