[People News] — On October 31, an online researcher with sources in China shared meeting records from a CCP public security insider with the Falun Dafa Information Center, warning that Pengming Cheng, the first known survivor of CCP organ harvesting, is facing increased threats to his life in the United States, with assassination not ruled out.

Meanwhile, Cheng, who resides in the U.S., has experienced multiple suspicious incidents. The latest occurred on November 2 when unidentified individuals broke into his home in New York.

According to a report by Epoch Times reporter Zhang Yi, the Falun Dafa Information Center stated in a November 4 press release that leaked CCP meeting records reveal that security officials in Heilongjiang Province are using a three-pronged strategy to force Cheng to retract his testimony and oppose Falun Gong. If Cheng refuses, the plan is to "silence him forever."

Between July and October of this year, Cheng publicly recounted his experiences of organ harvesting and torture at various events in the U.S., including panel discussions and documentary screenings.

Cheng began practicing Falun Gong in 1998. In December 2001, he was illegally sentenced to eight years for his beliefs. He was detained in Harbin Prison, Heilongjiang, on April 1, 2002, and transferred to Daqing Prison on July 1, 2004.

While serving his sentence in Daqing Prison, Cheng was taken to Daqing No. 4 Hospital, where his organs were harvested without his knowledge. The surgery left a 35-centimeter scar on the left side of his body.

Global experts in organ transplantation have verified that parts of Cheng's liver and lungs were indeed removed.

Reports indicate that CCP security agencies and senior CCP leaders are aware of Cheng's case and the increased attention it has brought to CCP organ transplant abuses and persecution of Falun Gong. In response, the CCP has intensified efforts to discredit him.

Falun Gong is a Buddhist practice based on the principles of "Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance," consisting of five exercises known for their health benefits. In 1999, former CCP leader Jiang Zemin, fearing the growing number of Falun Gong practitioners, ordered a campaign to suppress and eliminate the practice. Over the past 25 years, countless practitioners have suffered severe persecution, including disability, mental breakdown, death, and even organ harvesting.

According to sources, the CCP has indicated that if necessary, they will "kill him (Pengming Cheng) outright, making it look like suicide."

An insider reported, "The Heilongjiang Public Security Bureau is in charge of implementing this scheme, and preparations are already underway."

The three strategies planned by the Heilongjiang Public Security Bureau to target Cheng include:

  1. Persuade Cheng to return to China. Mobilize friends and family to pressure him through official or secret channels.

  2. Convince Cheng to retract his organ harvesting testimony. Friends and officials from China will travel to the U.S. to offer incentives, such as ensuring his family’s safety in China.

  3. If the first two fail, the third strategy involves threatening Cheng’s life to stop him from speaking further. His death would be staged as a suicide to erase evidence.

The insider, sympathetic to Falun Gong, fears the CCP may defame and harm this key witness.

The insider also warned Cheng, overseas researchers, and Falun Gong communities worldwide: “All of Cheng’s relatives are in China, so the CCP can easily control him. He should be prepared. Cheng’s public testimony has caused a major impact, and CCP leaders are highly concerned. Now, various departments are targeting him, each aiming for recognition, which puts him in great danger.”

Levi Browde, Executive Director of the Falun Dafa Information Center, said, "Cheng survived horrific persecution in a CCP prison and risked his life to escape to the U.S. Here, he can speak freely."

"But the CCP regime is terrified by his courageous testimony and wants to silence him even in the U.S. We cannot allow the CCP or its agents to mistreat Cheng in America."

The Falun Dafa Information Center urges U.S. government agencies to act immediately to protect Cheng and prevent this transnational suppression campaign from escalating further.

Escalating Security Threats Against Cheng

In just the past month, Cheng has faced multiple potential threats. The latest occurred on November 2, when his New York home was broken into by unidentified individuals.

Reports indicate that on November 2, 2024, between around 4:00 and 6:00 a.m., unidentified individuals entered Cheng’s home. His garage door latch had been forced open, and two doors were left unlocked and partially open.

Cheng also discovered deep tire marks left by the intruders in his backyard.

Suspiciously, Cheng's security cameras and alarms were offline between 1:12 and 6:18 a.m. A police report was filed at around 11:15 a.m.

Over the past three months, Cheng and his car have been targeted multiple times.

In October, during a screening of the documentary The National Organ in Delaware, Cheng recounted his experiences. During the screening, someone keyed his car.

On two other occasions, Cheng found nails in his tires. Once, a tire blew while he was driving, but fortunately, no one was hurt.

"These tactics won’t silence me," Cheng told the Falun Dafa Information Center in an interview. "I will never stop exposing the truth. Here in the U.S., I have friends and a community that support me."

"Remember, I will never retract my testimony," he said.
