[People News] On Wednesday (July 8), U.S. President Trump stated at the NATO summit held in Ankara, Turkey, that communism is more deadly than war and that it is adept at promoting its ideology, although it has never succeeded.
According to The Dajiyuan, during the press conference, Tao Ming, a reporter from NTD Television, a sister media of The Dajiyuan, asked the president about communism: "You have been warning the American public about the dangers of communism; now, you are also addressing this issue on the world stage. What message do you want to convey to those living under communist and socialist regimes, as well as to those in democratic countries like Europe and the United States who may not yet realize how close communism is to their doorstep?"

President Trump first acknowledged that this was an excellent question. "I want to get this message out because what is taking shape in this country is communism, and communism is very good at promoting (its ideology)," he stated.
He then provided an example, saying, "They will say: You can enjoy rent-free living for the rest of your life. But what they don’t tell you is that after 12 months, you will be living in filthy poverty.
They often say: You can get a free house... They will take a house from someone else and give it to you. After that, murders will occur everywhere.
"Communism is a disaster. This has been proven over thousands of years; it simply goes by a different name now, but fundamentally, it is the same. Understanding this is crucial.
"You can label it radical socialism or communism; the distinction is minimal. However, when they refer to themselves as 'social democrats,' saying 'we are social democrats,' it sounds appealing; but it is not good, it is a very dangerous term."
Trump highlighted an interesting phenomenon: he enjoys significant support among Hispanic voters, who helped him secure the presidency by a large margin.
"One of the reasons... is that many Hispanic individuals come from communist countries," the president stated. These individuals have a clear perspective on communism.
Trump noted that he had previously discussed communism and at one point wondered if he had overstepped in his comments, but later realized that this view was a shared consensus.
He confirmed the reporter's question, asserting that communism "has become an international issue."
"But it has never succeeded, and it will not succeed," the president declared emphatically.
He remarked that the United States currently has more job opportunities than ever before, and ordinary workers are earning more than ever, which serves as evidence of the best system, "even if it has its flaws, every system has some imperfections."
The president expressed his strong belief that communism poses a significant threat, one that is even more destructive than past global wars.
"I believe the danger America faces in this situation is greater than during World War I and World War II," Trump stated. "When you think about 9/11 (the terrorist attacks in 2001) or Pearl Harbor, those were major threats. However, I believe the danger of steering America towards communism is even greater."
"Once you head down the path of communism, there is no turning back; you can never return," the president continued. "You will perish in poverty and filth, and you will die in a horrific manner... becoming extremely evil and vile."
Trump: Communism is the enemy of free people worldwide
On the evening of July 3, U.S. President Trump delivered a powerful warning regarding the "threat of communism" during a speech at Mount Rushmore.
"This is not merely a political disagreement, unlike differing opinions on taxes or regulations," Trump remarked. "Communism represents a lethal threat to American freedom."
He further claimed that communism is the greatest threat America has faced since its inception, surpassing World War I, World War II, the Pearl Harbor attack, and even the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
"Communism is the enemy of free people around the globe... it is an adversary of the Constitution. Most importantly, it stands against the principles of July 4, 1776," Trump asserted, emphasizing that communism "has never succeeded," with a history marked by death and destruction, fundamentally contradicting the ideals of "life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness."
Trump sharply criticized communism, describing it as an ideology characterized by "mass theft, mass control, mass lies, and mass murder."
"In just the last century, it has resulted in the deaths of 100 million people," Trump stated. "They do not desire goodness. They do not love God, nor do they want God. They do not cherish religion, nor do they want religion, and they will not permit religion to exist."
He concluded by emphasizing, "America will never become a communist country."
