[People News] Just four days after the news broke overseas, on January 24, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) officially confirmed that Liu Zhenli, Vice Chairman of the Central Military Commission, member of the Central Military Commission, and Chief of Staff of the Joint Staff Department, has been dismissed. This announcement has generated significant attention both domestically and internationally, with observers keenly watching the trajectory of the CCP's political landscape, the military's movements, and whether Xi Jinping will face repercussions.
Ancient Chinese wisdom states, "Heaven shows signs, indicating fortune or misfortune." On the night of the official announcement, a netizen in Hebei captured images of a blood moon. In recent years, blood moons, or total lunar eclipses, have been observed multiple times globally and in mainland China. Historically, the appearance of a blood moon was interpreted as a dire omen.
Chinese ancient texts classify the "blood moon" as a type of "lunar change," suggesting that a change in the moon's colour heralds disaster. When it turns red, it is seen as a sign of impending conflicts, wars, and severe droughts and famines. Jing Fang (77 BC–37 BC), a master of Yi studies during the Western Han Dynasty, noted in his work "Zhou Yi Yao Zhan": "When the moon changes colour... red signifies conflict and war." He further stated, "When red energy covers the moon, resembling blood light, it indicates great drought and famine affecting the people over a thousand miles."
The Tang Dynasty's "Kaiyuan Zhanjing" viewed the blood moon as a celestial anomaly, stating, "When the moon has eclipsed and appears red, it signifies war," indicating that a red moon following a lunar eclipse foreshadows military disasters, turmoil, or bloodshed. It also warned, "When the state changes hands, ministers will perish; at this time, military disasters will occur."
The "Song History: Astronomy" records, "(The moon) is red, indicating war and drought." Clearly, the appearance of a blood moon is closely associated with military disasters and droughts.
The most astonishing record is from April 24, 1644, which corresponds to the 18th day of the 3rd month in the 17th year of the Chongzhen era. On this day, both the "Changzhou Prefecture Gazetteer" and Sun Zhiqi's private notes ", Er Shen Ye Lu," along with the early Qing novel "Tie Guan Tu Zhong Lie Quan Zhuan," all noted that the "moon was red as blood." That very night, Emperor Chongzhen hanged himself at Meishan, and the following day, Li Zicheng's army invaded Beijing, marking the end of the Ming Dynasty.
In fact, strange phenomena have persisted in mainland China for over a decade. In the last five years, notable events include heavy rains in Zhengzhou, the sighting of a blood moon in the Henan sky, the reversal of river flow in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River at the Jinsha River, the sudden appearance of deep pits in Shenyang, Liaoning, widespread flooding across various regions in both the north and south, a massive luminous object descending over Zhumadian, Henan, the collapse of cave dwellings in the "sacred revolutionary site" of Yan'an, frequent sightings of flying insects, crows, and swallows, a black swan unexpectedly landing in Tiananmen Square, a sandstorm in Dunhuang changing the sky from red to yellow, and the collapse of the main gate of the Hall of Supreme Harmony in the Forbidden City... These ominous signs serve as warnings from heaven, as well as manifestations of its mercy.
So, why did a blood moon appear in Hebei? Moreover, it coincided with the night when Zhang Youxia and Liu Zhenli were officially reported to have fallen from power. Is this merely a coincidence, or does it signify a divine message?
According to data, the headquarters of the 81st and 82nd Group Armies of the Central Theatre Command of the Chinese Communist Party is located within Hebei Province, encircling Beijing. Its headquarters is situated in the central part of Hebei, on the eastern foothills of the Taihang Mountains, in Baoding City, which is referred to as a "key area of the capital."
Former Inner Mongolia official Du Wen referenced internal sources during a media program, claiming that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) military is currently facing its most tense situation since its founding. Zhang Youxia, the military's second-in-command, has promoted thousands of generals within the ranks. Following his arrest, the CCP military could potentially experience a large-scale upheaval at any moment.
He further disclosed: 'Xi Jinping is very fearful of the troops moving to Beijing,' and 'Xi has instructed all units to remain on standby in their current locations, prohibiting any deployments.' He noted that all military units have now entered a first-level combat readiness status, with all personnel returning to their posts, and all external communications via mobile phones have been suspended.
Evidently, the military units that can reach Beijing the quickest, aside from those already stationed there, are the troops based in Hebei. Will the Hebei troops react to the celestial signs and exhibit any unusual movements?
