[People News] The U.S. Central Intelligence Agency on Thursday (January 15) released a Chinese-language video, providing a complete set of steps on how to contact them safely, hoping to find people who can tell them the truth about the Chinese Communist Party.

According to a report by Voice of America, the CIA wrote on the social media platform X, “The CIA wants to know the truth about the Chinese Communist Party. We are looking for people who know the truth and can tell it.”

In the 2-minute-and-6-second short video, the CIA listed nine steps in Chinese for making secure contact, including using cash or gift cards to purchase contact devices without needing to disclose personal information; finding public places with Wi-Fi to make anonymous contact; downloading web browsers and VPN software from U.S. or Western manufacturers; creating a new email account and contacting them through the dark web, and so on.

Prior to this, on May 1, 2025, the CIA released two Mandarin-language videos titled respectively Why I Contacted the CIA: To Take Control of My Fate and Why I Contacted the CIA: For a Better Life. These two short films described the distress of Chinese Communist Party officials who had grown increasingly disappointed with the CCP regime, sought a way out for themselves and their families, and ultimately chose to contact the CIA.
