[People News] Chinese actor Yu Menglong’s death from falling off a building has now been over a month, yet the public outcry for justice both inside and outside China remains strong. The incident has sparked another wave of Chinese citizens—both domestic and overseas—declaring their “three withdrawals” (“Tuidang”): quitting the Communist Party, the Communist Youth League, and the Young Pioneers. This phenomenon has not only attracted the attention of overseas observers but has also become a hot topic widely reported by Taiwanese media.

Dark Secrets Behind Yu Menglong’s Case; Awakening Among Chinese People at Home and Abroad to Join the “Three Withdrawals”

The 37-year-old mainland actor Yu Menglong died under mysterious circumstances after “falling from a building” on September 11. Although the Public Security Bureau quickly ruled out criminal suspicion, arrested commentators, deleted posts, and strictly censored all discussion, public doubts remain.

Rumors suggest that Yu Menglong had resisted powerful figures and “unwritten rules” within the entertainment industry, leading to revenge. Some sources even claim that the perpetrator involved was the illegitimate son of a senior CCP leader—hence the regime’s severe suppression of any information regarding Yu Menglong’s death. Recently, more and more dark facts under CCP rule have been brought to light.

On September 20, a netizen launched a global petition on the NGO AVAAZ titled “Justice for Yu Menglong.” As of the evening of October 15 (Beijing time), 401,807 people had signed in support.

Meanwhile, the hidden truths behind Yu Menglong’s death have also awakened large numbers of Chinese people. Many, after their shock, began publishing “Three Withdrawal Statements” on overseas websites, declaring their departure from the Party, the Youth League, and the Young Pioneers.

Over the past month, numerous statements posted on The Dajiyuan “Tuidang” website explicitly mentioned Yu Menglong’s case as their motivation.

Zhang Qisheng from Nanyang, Henan Province, wrote:“The Yu Menglong case is utterly shocking. Today’s CCP-China is a gigantic meat grinder; ordinary people are merely organs and spare parts for red elites, discarded at will with no safety at all. I hereby withdraw completely from the Young Pioneers and Youth League! May more Chinese people awaken.”

Li Fangfang, residing in Canada, stated:“The Yu Menglong case is utterly shocking. Today’s CCP-China is a gigantic meat grinder; ordinary people are merely organs and spare parts for red elites, discarded at will with no safety at all. I hereby withdraw completely from the Young Pioneers and Youth League! May more Chinese people awaken.”

On September 29, a statement from inside China signed ‘At Dawn’ said:“Yu Menglong’s sacrifice has awakened those who should awaken. We must withdraw from the Young Pioneers, the Youth League, and the Communist Party—no longer to be sacrifices of red elites. It’s time for dawn to break. Give Yu Menglong justice!!!”

On October 7, Naixin Liang wrote in a “Three Withdrawal Statement”:“I joined the Young Pioneers in primary school and the Youth League in middle school. I’d often heard programs urging people to ‘withdraw from the three organizations,’ but I never took them seriously. After this Yu Menglong incident, I realized how utterly evil they are—beyond anything I imagined. My worldview has been overturned. I’m fully awake now and will quit this organization.”

Dasheng and two others declared:“Because of the Yu Menglong case, we are completely awake and have no more illusions about the CCP. We want to live as clean, honest people. Our family of three will quit the Communist Youth League.”

Li Shuai, now in the United States, stated:“I’ve always been a super-patriotic person. I still remember that when I first came to the U.S., I’d feel angry whenever Taiwanese classmates introduced themselves as not Chinese. Due to our upbringing, we’ve always been grateful to the heroes who ‘shed blood for us,’ believing for 30 years that without the Party there would be no new life. But modern technology makes it impossible to block all information, especially overseas, where many of their cover-ups are being exposed—particularly this Yu Menglong incident, which has left me deeply unsettled.”

“I tried speaking out online, but my posts were mysteriously deleted… They suppress and control people’s thoughts; they decide who lives and who dies. Is this still the country I love? I’m heartbroken! Demons—demons are controlling my country! I must withdraw from this evil organization! I never joined the Party, but I will make two withdrawals—from the Young Pioneers and the Youth League.”

Taiwanese Media Extensively Report the Yu Menglong Incident, Sparking a “Three Withdrawals” Wave Among Chinese People

The Yu Menglong case has drawn wide attention in Taiwan, especially since Yu’s mentor Sun Derong resides there and has continually spoken out, prompting further media coverage. Recently, Taiwanese outlets have highlighted how the incident triggered a massive wave of withdrawals from the CCP in China, citing The Dajiyuan Tuidang website’s data showing over 450 million Chinese people have applied to quit the Party, Youth League, and Young Pioneers.

Analyses: Chinese People Quitting to Save Themselves—CCP Rule Is Collapsing

Wang Zhiyuan, chairman of the Global Service Center for Quitting the CCP, told The Dajiyuan that through the Yu Menglong incident, Taiwanese society has seen the CCP’s true nature—showing that years of the CCP’s “united-front” efforts have failed.

Former Shenzhen lawyer Zhou Junhong said to The Dajiyuan that the CCP is now besieged on all sides; domestically and internationally, it has lost public support.

Wang Zhiyuan added that the incident exposed the CCP’s corruption and evil, shattering illusions among the people—many former “little pinks” are changing. This represents a spiritual awakening among Chinese citizens. It shows that the CCP’s rule is collapsing across spiritual, social, and economic dimensions.

He noted a new trend: previously, most used pseudonyms to post statements online, but now more people are quitting openly under their real names, especially overseas, even receiving “Withdrawal Certificates” in public gatherings. From late April to early August, more than 60 young people from mainland China did so publicly at rallies.

Zhou Junhong remarked that there is no truth or justice in China today. Only when more Chinese people realize that the CCP’s tyranny is the root of their suffering—and rise up to resist—will there be hope.

“Only by quitting (the Party, the Youth League, and the Young Pioneers) and drawing a clear line from the CCP can one achieve self-salvation. It’s an act of self-awakening and resistance. Only by completely separating from the Communist Party can we, as Chinese people, become independent individuals, free from demonic control,” she said.

Zhou added that the CCP persecutes Falun Gong practitioners who encourage people to withdraw, and smears The Dajiyuan, precisely because it fears people quitting or even talking about it:

“The Communist Party relies on ideological control—once it can’t control you, it collapses naturally.”
