[People News] According to a report by the Wall Street Journal, in response to Japanese Prime Minister Kishi Sanae's comments about 'Taiwan's situation,' China's Consul General in Osaka, Xue Jian, issued a threat on the social media platform X, stating intentions to 'decapitate.' This action was reportedly sanctioned by high-level officials and aimed at gauging Japan's response. The information is said to have come from sources close to Beijing's decision-making circles.
So, who exactly are the 'high-level' officials referred to by these insiders? It is undoubtedly Xi Jinping who personally manages and directs all matters. Following Xi Jinping's recent meeting with Kishi Sanae, domestic propaganda has been ramping up. Kishi Sanae's assertion that 'Taiwan's situation is Japan's situation' left Xi Jinping bewildered. How does he save face now?! A leader who is supposed to guide the world has been publicly challenged by a Japanese woman.
Gao Shizhao's remarks have completely disrupted the wolf pack within the CCP's den. The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, with unwavering confidence, introduced a new diplomatic term '奉示' (fèng shì) to summon others. A diplomat with the surname Liu, at the bureau level, shockingly met with Japanese diplomats while dressed in a Zhongshan suit, hands in pockets, exuding an air of indifference. In front of the entire world, he flaunted street thug behaviour as if it were high-level diplomacy, thereby not only compromising personal dignity but also national integrity. The People's Daily, Xinhua News Agency, and Yangshi, the leading party media, speak like a shrew cursing in the street, their writings filled with vulgar language, falling below even elementary school standards. It appears they are all acting on '奉示' (fèng shì). Xi Jinping, a primary school graduate, has only the dirty water from Liangjiahe in his mind, yet he can treat 'roll up your sleeves and work hard' as a golden decree to command the world. Those sycophants and literary figures, in an effort to please their superiors, are also striving to align themselves with the literary thugs and the illiterate.
The CCP has been incredibly busy over the past two weeks, with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of National Security, Ministry of Public Security, Ministry of Commerce, Coast Guard, four major military regions, party media, military media, the Cyberspace Administration, consuls, and photo-editing teams all mobilised. Everyone is on the front lines, unleashing a saturated barrage of rhetoric across all platforms, forcefully escalating a diplomatic friction into an unprecedented international scandal.
Initially, there was the 'decapitation theory' and the 'hands-in-pockets incident', followed by 'hard measures', including a ban on Japanese seafood, a tourism ban, and an anime ban. The CCP has also maliciously delayed and cancelled activities of enterprises in China. The Foreign Ministry's Mao Ning publicly stated that during the G20, Li Qiang would not meet with Japanese leaders. The CCP's Ministry of Foreign Affairs indeed lives up to its reputation, exhibiting a hardline wolf warrior diplomacy, effectively acting as a severance department, demonstrating a strong resolve to not decouple from Japan and to not back down.
Upon the announcement of the news, the Japanese community erupted in excitement, with numerous netizens expressing sentiments like, "Now Japan can relax," and a Japanese professor declaring, "Thank you, China!" This led to an immediate surge of over ten million views, with many Japanese users nodding in agreement, saying, "We have been waiting for this for a long time!" Japanese conservative politician Hyakuta Naoki made a biting comment about the Chinese Communist Party, stating, "Even if the tourism industry is worth 2.2 trillion yen, with a population of 120 million, that averages to 18,000 yen per person. If spending 18,000 yen can significantly reduce the number of rude tourists, that would be a positive outcome." Japan's Minister of Economic Security, Kimi Onoda, emphasised that Japan must not become economically reliant on the Chinese Communist Party. Additionally, Japanese Senator Ishihira backed Takashima Sannae, advocating for a strong official response to the Chinese Communist Party and the expulsion of Xue Jian. The Japanese government swiftly countered the Chinese Communist Party's actions by boycotting events hosted by the Chinese consulate in Osaka.
Meanwhile, the Chinese military appears to be escalating its military activities, with four Chinese Coast Guard vessels entering the waters surrounding the Diaoyu Islands, and a suspected Chinese drone flying between Japan's Yonaguni Island and Taiwan. In a rare show of unity, the four major military regions—Eastern, Southern, Western, and Northern—simultaneously released a propaganda video warning Japan, featuring aircraft carriers, J-20s, rapid launches from the Dongfeng Express, and rocket forces, accompanied by a voiceover that conveyed a threatening tone: "Dare to step one foot over the thunder pool, and there will be no return!"
On November 21, the Chinese Embassy in Japan posted a message in both Chinese and Japanese on X, stating: According to the enemy clause established by the United Nations Charter, any country among the fascist or militaristic nations, such as Germany, Italy, and Japan, that takes any steps to implement aggressive policies can be subjected to direct military action by the founding countries of the United Nations, including China, France, the UK, and the US, without needing authorization from the Security Council.
Netizens have begun to mock the Chinese Communist Party once again, saying things like: "Just like Xianglin's wife,"; "I will hit you! I really will hit you! Do you believe I will hit you right now?"; "The more you talk, the more cowardly you are inside."Are you really spoiling the jokes from the Spring Festival Gala in advance?"Who are the founding countries of the United Nations? The Republic of China! "Once the war starts, the mines will be liberated."
This recent manoeuvre by the Chinese Communist Party has seen state media fully mobilised and directly attacking, social media algorithms amplifying posts, anti-Japanese topics trending, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs aggressively promoting wolf warrior diplomacy, military visual propaganda, and the deployment of coast guard grey tactics, alongside economic punishments and threats of decoupling. This has quickly ignited nationalist sentiments among the 'little pinks'. Takagi Sanae has been demonised, while Japan has been belittled and vilified, successfully diverting attention from the rising unemployment rate and the wave of mortgage defaults affecting the domestic economy. The Chinese Communist Party is quite pleased with this situation, and its intensity of action continues to rise.
The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) consistently lifts a stone only to crush its own foot, and with each incident, it escalates the situation further. The stones it lifts become larger, the heights increase, and the injuries to its foot worsen, leading to severe damage. The travel ban itself is akin to a 'seven-injury fist,' resulting in significant losses for Chinese travel agencies, airlines, and luxury goods purchasing agents. Domestic netizens have already voiced their frustrations, asking, 'What should I do if I want to go to Japan to buy a toilet seat?' The vulgarity of the CCP's state media and the rudeness of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs have been widely reported by Western, American, and Japanese media as 'wolf warrior diplomacy spiralling out of control' and 'Cultural Revolution-style insults in the 21st century.' In stark contrast, the approval rating for Japanese Prime Minister Kishi Nobuo has not only remained stable but has actually risen, jumping from 48% when he took office to 71%, marking a post-war high. Among young people, Kishi Nobuo's support has exceeded 80%. The international community has consistently criticised the CCP's methods as excessively extreme and brutal, with even Southeast Asian nations—often seen as the CCP's backyard—expressing concerns over China's coercive diplomacy.
A prime example of this is Singapore. As a small nation, Singapore has always pursued a balanced diplomatic approach, wary of offending major powers, particularly the CCP. Among Southeast Asian countries, it closely aligns with the CCP and can be considered China's backyard. China is Singapore's largest trading partner, with bilateral trade projected to exceed 200 billion Singapore dollars in 2024. Additionally, Singapore has substantial investments in China and a significant Chinese population, which has led it to refrain from publicly criticising Beijing.
Unexpectedly, on November 19, 2025, Singapore's Prime Minister Huang Xuncai made a rare and clear statement at Bloomberg's New Economy Forum: 'We hope that China and Japan can find a way to resolve these very complex issues and look ahead. Southeast Asia has already achieved this - we have 'put history aside' with Japan, and now we are important trade partners and friends.'
This statement is quite eloquent; while it appears neutral, it implicitly criticises and advises the Chinese Communist Party (CCP): 'We in Southeast Asia have also experienced Japanese invasion, but that is history. Our countries have long moved past this, successfully resolving issues with Japan. Look at you, CCP, still unable to let go, clinging to Japan and fostering animosity. Shouldn't we look forward? Isn't it better to be friends and engage in trade?'
This is the most direct response from Singapore's leadership regarding the China-Japan conflict. Why has Singapore chosen to align with Japan and subtly criticise the CCP? Singapore has observed how the CCP treats the Philippines, as well as the economic sanctions imposed on Australia and Lithuania between 2020 and 2023. Most importantly, Singapore is highly reliant on the security of the Taiwan Strait; 99% of its trade passes through the South China Sea and the Taiwan Strait. If the CCP's aggressive diplomacy leads to a crisis in the Taiwan Strait, Singapore would be the first to suffer. If the Taiwan Strait comes under CCP control, it would effectively mean Singapore has become a colony of the CCP. Thus, Singapore has become more assertive this time, no longer accommodating Beijing. As anticipated, the CCP has remained silent.
Additionally, Singapore is acutely aware that the US and Japan are currently enjoying a golden honeymoon phase, supported by the US-Japan Security Treaty, which deters the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) from taking rash actions. Recently, the United States has made its position clear to the CCP, revealing its strategic intentions.
On November 21, 2025, US State Department Deputy Spokesperson Tommy Pigott stated on X (formerly Twitter): "Our commitment to the US-Japan alliance and Japan's defence is unwavering, including the Senkaku Islands (known as Diaoyu Islands in China) under Japan's jurisdiction. The US-Japan alliance remains the cornerstone of peace and security in the Indo-Pacific region." Earlier, around November 20, the US Ambassador to Japan also affirmed that the US would "stand firmly with Japan" in any disputes between China and Japan, criticising some of China's responses as "absurd."
According to Article 5 of the US-Japan Security Treaty, any armed attack against the territory of either contracting party under Japan's administration will jeopardise its own peace and security, and it declares that actions will be taken in accordance with constitutional provisions and procedures to address the common threat.
In this context, the "territory under Japan's administration" refers to areas actually controlled by Japan, including the Diaoyu Islands, which Japan effectively governs. This has been publicly acknowledged by nearly every US administration. The US-Japan Security Treaty acts as a "nuclear umbrella," and the US State Department Deputy Spokesperson recently reiterated this, issuing a stern warning to the CCP, reminding them not to overestimate their position, as their theatrics could lead to serious strategic miscalculations.
The recent 'saturation-style mouth cannon show' by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) perfectly exemplifies what is meant by 'strategic collapse under strategic ignorance,' ultimately leading to a derailment and crash. While they loudly declare 'we will not hesitate to fight' and 'dare to draw swords,' the reality is that attacking Japan would mean simultaneously engaging in war with the United States, Japan, and the West. The CCP's conflict with Taiwan would be far more disastrous than Russia's war in Ukraine. Moreover, Xi Jinping is reluctant to arm the military; his anti-corruption campaign has alienated the entire military establishment. If a real conflict arises, it remains uncertain whether the guns will be directed at the Party or if the Party will control the guns; it is even conceivable that the guns could directly eliminate the Party.
