Expert: Xi Jinping’s So-Called “150-Year-Old” Dream Impossible to Achieve

[People News] Dr. Andreas Weber, Deputy Director of the European Division of Doctors Against Forced Organ Harvesting (DAFOH), analyzed from a medical perspective that Xi Jinping’s remark about living to “150 years old,” made during the September 3 military parade, is impossible.

According to The Dajiyuan reporter Zhang Yi in Washington, D.C., internationally renowned human-rights lawyer David Matas recently also told The Dajiyuan that living to 150 is nothing more than the wishful thinking of a dictator who wants to rule forever.

In a video from the Beijing military parade on September 3, Xi Jinping, speaking through a Russian interpreter, said:“In the past, few people lived to 70, but now 70 is still a child.”

When the translator later relayed a remark from Putin, his voice was especially clear. Putin talked about organ transplants, saying:“Human organs will continue to be transplanted, people will grow younger and younger, even achieve immortality.”

Xi, through the translator, responded in Russian:“Some predict that in this century, human life expectancy could reach 150 years.”

At the October 3 Washington screening of State Organs, Dr. Weber analyzed Xi and Putin’s exchange, saying:“Regarding the CCP’s ‘longevity project,’ they promise people can ‘live forever’—this is impossible.”

Weber explained:“You cannot perform organ transplants an unlimited number of times because blood vessels must connect.”“Even if artificial materials are used to connect blood vessels, they ultimately must integrate with natural biological vessels.”“But in surgery, we often encounter the universal problem that these interfaces cannot last for many years. The more operations you perform, the faster they fail.”

“So this plan for perpetual transplants simply cannot be achieved,” he said.

The Source of the “150-Year” Project

Larry Liu, Deputy Director of the Falun Dafa Information Center, said at the same State Organs screening that Xi’s mention to Putin of living to 150 has a basis—it stems from the CCP’s “981 Health Project.”

Liu stated:“A short video once circulated briefly online in China. It came from a top military hospital of the CCP, describing a project aimed at extending the lifespans of CCP leaders. They envisioned these people living beyond 150 years.”

In 2019, a WeChat post about the “981 Leaders’ Health Project” went viral in mainland China. It described a medical program exclusively for the CCP’s top leadership, boasting “remarkable results” over 60 years and claiming the goal was to extend life expectancy to 150.

Baidu once publicly introduced that the “981 Health Project” research group was founded and launched in 2005.

David Matas: The “150-Year” Dream Is Wishful Thinking

Canadian international human-rights lawyer and Order of Canada recipient David Matas, who has been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize, told The Dajiyuan that Xi’s dream of living 150 years reflects a dictator’s desire for eternal rule.

Matas said:“In general, dictators wish to hold power indefinitely. A defining feature of dictatorship is the absence of institutional limits on a leader’s term. Likewise, dictators rarely resign voluntarily.”“For dictatorships, the only real term limits are some form of purge, the collapse of the regime they control, or death.”“This exchange seems to show two dictators indulging in wishful thinking—discussing how to make ‘death’ no longer the limit of their rule.”

The Scheme Behind the “150-Year Project”

Nina Shea, Director of the Center for Religious Freedom and Senior Fellow at the Hudson Institute in Washington, told The Dajiyuan that this episode inadvertently exposed the truth about the CCP’s forced organ harvesting.

Shea said Xi and Putin’s discussion about organ transplants has factual grounding:“These two notorious and deeply immoral dictators are conspiring to pursue immortality through replacing (transplanting) aging organs. Will they kill young Falun Gong practitioners, Uyghur Muslims, Tibetan Buddhists, and house-church Christians to obtain organs? — Mounting evidence shows this has already become routine practice under the CCP.”“This ‘hot-mic incident’—an unfiltered, unrehearsed moment—revealed the truth that Falun Gong practitioners, I, and others have been exposing for years about the CCP.”

The CCP’s organ-harvesting crimes were first exposed in 2006. Over the years, multiple investigations and reports have confirmed the Chinese regime’s harvesting of organs from Falun Gong practitioners and other prisoners of conscience.

In March 2020, the Independent People’s Tribunal issued its final written judgment, concluding:“Forced organ harvesting has been carried out for years throughout China on a significant scale. Falun Gong practitioners have been one—and probably the main—source of human organs.”△
