[People News] Since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic in late 2019, several years have passed, yet many unanswered questions remain regarding this global public health crisis. These mysteries involve the virus's origins, transmission pathways, and early disclosure of information, sparking ongoing debates in academia, public discourse, and political arenas. The biggest mystery of all remains whether the virus originated from the Wuhan Institute of Virology.
To unravel these mysteries, one key figure is crucial—Jiang Chaoliang, who was the CCP Secretary of Hubei Province at the time.
Do you still remember? Shortly after the outbreak, during a joint meeting of the CCP’s Hubei Provincial and Wuhan Municipal Committees on handling the crisis, Jiang Chaoliang explicitly stated that both the Wuhan Municipal Committee and the Hubei Provincial Committee had reported every development of the outbreak to the central government in a timely manner. He also emphasized that every action taken was strictly based on Beijing's instructions. He made this statement publicly during the meeting. Looking back, it seems likely that Jiang made this declaration to avoid being scapegoated for Xi Jinping’s delay in reporting the pandemic. He likely realized that such a massive cover-up was not something he could afford to take the fall for—after all, the delayed disclosure of the outbreak to both China and the world led to countless deaths.
Strangely, according to CCP state media, Jiang Chaoliang—who stepped down as Hubei’s Party Secretary five years ago—has now been suddenly placed under investigation by the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection (CCDI) for "serious violations of discipline and law."
What exactly are Jiang Chaoliang’s alleged "violations"? The official notice has not mentioned a single detail.
Following Jiang Chaoliang's (Jiang Chao-liang) downfall, sources have disclosed that he was arrested after expressing grievances at a dinner about how every action taken during the pandemic response was merely following Xi Jinping's (Xi Jin-ping) directives.
However, legal scholar Yuan Hongbing (Yuan Hong-bing), currently residing in Australia, cited comments from insiders within the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) that the true reason for Jiang Chaoliang's arrest was his intention to escape to Thailand during the New Year holiday and reveal to the world what he knew about the circumstances surrounding the Wuhan virus outbreak. This plan was intercepted by the CCP's Ministry of State Security, resulting in his immediate arrest.
Yuan Hongbing stated, 'In anticipation of a potential global accountability movement that could emerge after the Trump 2.0 administration takes office, the CCP has already taken several precautionary measures. First, all individuals who previously worked at the Wuhan Institute of Virology have been required to sign new confidentiality agreements; second, the technical documents related to the Wuhan Institute of Virology are now temporarily under the custody of the CCP's Bureau of Secrecy; and third, Jiang Chaoliang has been arrested.'
If Yuan Hongbing's claims are accurate, then Jiang Chaoliang's arrest is solely aimed at silencing him. He is likely to face a severe prison sentence, potentially spending the rest of his life incarcerated, and may even unexpectedly 'die of illness' or 'suddenly pass away.'
In an effort to conceal the truth about the origins and spread of the Wuhan pandemic and to avoid international accountability, I believe the CCP is capable of committing even more nefarious and sinister acts.
