People News - During the COVID-19 pandemic, a large number of individuals in China lost their lives to the virus, many of whom were staunch members of the Communist Party. This reality has led people to a simple conclusion: trusting the Communist Party is akin to a one-way ticket to the crematorium. According to publicly available information, numerous officials, renowned experts, and figures across various sectors, including the CCP, government, military, police, academia, and the arts, have recently died due to illness, most of whom were CCP members.
Based on an incomplete tally by The Epoch Times, from mid-September to the present, at least 16 provincial and ministerial-level or higher CCP officials have died from illness, including 15 Party members. Among them are a top-level national official, former Politburo Standing Committee member Wu Bangguo; two deputy-level national officials, former Central Military Commission member and Defense Minister Liang Guanglie, and former Central Political and Legal Affairs Commission Secretary Ren Jianxin.
On November 12, Liang Guanglie, a deputy-level national official, former CMC member, former State Councilor, and Defense Minister, passed away in Beijing at the age of 84, becoming the third top-level CCP official to die in recent months. From 2002 onwards, Liang held key military positions, including CMC member, Chief of General Staff, and Defense Minister. He was promoted to General in 2002. Liang was known as a close ally of Jiang Zemin, executing Jiang's policies within the military in opposition to the Hu-Wen administration. Recently, corruption scandals involving Liang and his family have surfaced, and he has been the subject of ongoing investigations.
On October 8, Wu Bangguo, a top-level national official, former Politburo Standing Committee member, and National People’s Congress Chairman, passed away at 84. Rising through the ranks in Shanghai, Wu was a key member of the "Shanghai Clique" associated with Jiang Zemin. He served as Shanghai Party Secretary and Vice Premier and was known for his controversial "Five No’s" stance against then-Premier Wen Jiabao.
On September 21, Ren Jianxin, a deputy-level national official and former Secretary of the Central Political and Legal Affairs Commission, died in Beijing. Ren had served as secretary to senior Party leader Dong Biwu, as President of the Supreme People's Court, and as Vice Chairman of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference.
According to a rough count, from mid-September to early November 2024, at least three other provincial or ministerial-level and ten deputy provincial or ministerial-level officials have died from illness. Among them were Party members Zhao Fulin, former Secretary of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region; Yang Zhenhuai, former Minister of Water Resources; and Liu Liying, former Deputy Secretary of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection.
In Shandong Province alone, three deputy provincial-level officials died within two months, while seven others in different provinces also passed away.
Based on the information provided, a total of 16 high-ranking CCP officials died from illness, with only one non-Party member among them.
In The Epoch Times’ statement on its Quit the Party website, it asserts that the Communist Party, historically responsible for great sins against humanity and divinity, will not spare those loyal to its cause when divine reckoning arrives. For those wishing to avoid becoming collateral damage with the CCP, the only way out is to quit the Party and its affiliated organizations, including the Youth League and Young Pioneers.
