October 29, 2024 – This year marks the 20th anniversary of the publication of Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, a series of editorials by Dajiyuan.
For some readers, there may still be questions about what exactly Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party is. Here, based on my own experiences studying Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party and what I have learned, I’ll address this question specifically.
First, Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party is one of the most banned books in China.
Following the publication of Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party by Dajiyuan in November 2004, the articles were compiled and published by Broad Press, initially in Chinese and later translated into English, French, Russian, and 33 other languages.
Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party won the "Best Web Reporting Award" from the Asian American Journalists Association in the United States in 2005, was nominated for "Best Publication Award" at the Ukraine Book Fair in 2008, and has been praised by the public as a "monumental work."
However, Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party remains a major banned book in China.
On January 24, 2005, the Chinese Ministry of Public Security issued an action plan, "Operation 1.24." Subsequently, police departments in provinces, autonomous regions, and directly governed cities issued similar directives.
The Tianjin Public Security Bureau's Notice on Submitting Information Related to Operation 1.24 directed units to promptly handle any “Nine Commentaries” cases on a community level and quickly confiscate and collect evidence.
For phone cases, officers were instructed to identify the caller’s gender, accent, and other basic characteristics, call method, content of the statement, and displayed number. For fax cases, officers were to quickly collect promotional materials and determine whether a number was displayed. For letter cases, attention was to be given to preserving the envelope and original letter, identifying the sender based on the postmark time, address, and letter contents.
During the investigation process, any production or dissemination of Nine Commentaries was to be immediately reported to the municipal bureau, tracing the sources, creators, distribution methods, scope, and quantity. Each unit was required to report on the progress of their actions in the campaign to the city bureau by 12 p.m. every Friday.
Second, Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party is Nine Piercing Swords Analyzing the CCP.
Since taking power, the CCP has tried every possible way to paint itself in a favorable light, going to great lengths to portray itself as “great, glorious, and correct,” using every means to brainwash the Chinese public.
For example, through songs like, “Sing a mountain song for the Party, I compare the Party to my mother”; “Party, oh Party, beloved Party, you are my dearest mother”; “The grace of the Party is greater than the heavens and earth.”
Years of the CCP’s brainwashing propaganda have deceived billions of Chinese people and many foreigners, making it difficult for the world to see the true face of the CCP.
Starting on November 19, 2004, *The Epoch Times* published nine consecutive editorials:
1. What is the Communist Party?
2. How did the Chinese Communist Party come into being?
3. On the Communist Party’s Tyranny
4. On the Communist Party as an Anti-Universe Force
5. Jiang Zemin and the CCP's Mutual Use in Persecuting Falun Gong
6. On the CCP’s Destruction of National Culture
7. The Killing History of the CCP
8. The Cult Nature of the CCP
9. The Rogue Nature of the CCP.
These nine editorials are like nine shining swords, piercing through and stripping away the heavy layers of language and deception the CCP has used to cloak itself, exposing its true nature. It turns out the CCP is a cult fundamentally rooted in “lies, evil, struggle, anti-heaven, anti-earth, anti-humanity, and anti-god.”
Third, Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party is a Thunderclap Shattering the Illusions about the CCP Held by Many Around the World.
Since its founding in 1921, the CCP has constantly taken on the role of representative of China, the Chinese people, and the Chinese nation, making promises to all sectors at home and abroad about building a “free, democratic, and prosperous new China.”
However, since the CCP overthrew China’s legitimate government—the Republic of China—on the mainland in 1949 by any means necessary, 75 years have passed without fulfilling any of its promises.
In terms of freedom, the CCP has deprived the Chinese people of freedom of belief, freedom of speech, freedom from fear, and freedom from want.
In terms of democracy, the CCP has established a regime more dictatorial, authoritarian, and brutal than any in history.
In terms of prosperity, China has not become wealthy, and neither have most Chinese people. The most lucrative industries and professions in China are monopolized by the CCP’s elite families, who are fabulously wealthy and wield vast power.
Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party makes it clear to the world that the CCP is not China, the CCP does not represent the Chinese people, and the CCP certainly does not represent the Chinese nation.
The CCP is a hostile foreign-influenced entity—a party established under the manipulation of Soviet communists, whose ancestors are foreigners (Marx and Lenin) and whose ideology is foreign (Marxism-Leninism), aiming ultimately to destroy traditional values, universal values, and humanity itself.
The Nine Commentaries emerged like a thunderbolt, shocking and awakening many from their illusions about the CCP.
After reading the Nine Commentaries, a reader passionately wrote, “Wake up, my flesh and blood compatriots! Rise, my brothers and sisters! Listen to this thunderous awakening tonight, the invigorating spring wind blowing; see the sunrise spreading, the clouds stirring and majestic; from now on, let your eyes be open, your spine straight, no longer deceived, no longer ignorant. Autocracy is on the verge of collapse, dictatorship retreating at every step. The rivers may twist and turn, but they will eventually converge on the same path.”
One netizen shared, “On QQ, China’s largest chat platform, you can’t type the words ‘Communist Party.’ When I asked why, I discovered the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, and learned that the CCP is a cult. We actually owe this realization to the CCP for leading the way—thanks to them! It’s impossible not to call the Communist Party a cult! Stay far away from the cult of the Communist Party.”
Someone, after reading the Nine Commentaries, was astonished to realize that, under CCP rule, “schools don’t teach knowledge but brainwashing; history isn’t about truth but deception; news isn’t about facts but lies; war films don’t teach reflection but hatred; officials aren’t there for the people but to oppress them; the people aren’t in charge but are enslaved.”
Another reader wrote, “The Communist Party’s media is called the ‘Party’s mouthpiece,’ meaning it speaks for the Party, not from the heart. What does it do? It ‘guides public opinion.’ What does ‘guide public opinion’ mean? It means fooling people, guiding them this way or that as it pleases. The purpose is to use people as tools. So, the Party’s mouthpiece is simply a tool for fooling people—in plain terms, it’s a tool for lying.”
A government worker wrote, “The Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party shook my heart, making me see that the Party’s ‘materialism’ is a huge malignancy. Many people think ‘life is short, so why not indulge in pleasure?’ So, for money, gain, and pleasure, people commit all kinds of evils, and society deteriorates further. The CCP has destroyed China.”
Looking back now, all the CCP’s propaganda over its 75 years in power has been to keep the populace ignorant, forcing the Chinese people to bow before the CCP’s tyranny, meekly submitting as slaves, numb to the Party’s monstrous deeds, letting themselves be manipulated, and ultimately being led to die for the CCP.
The Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party shattered the thick, dark layers of mental shackles that the CCP wrapped around the Chinese people, awakening the consciences of countless individuals.
Once conscience awakens, people can, by common sense alone, pierce through the CCP’s lies, recognize its true nature, and no longer harbor any illusions about it.
Fourth, Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party is a Beacon Lighting the Path Forward.
In China today, plagues, floods, earthquakes, sandstorms, tornadoes, explosions, murders, corruption, and various natural and man-made disasters are unceasing.
In the world today, the Russo-Ukrainian war, the Israel-Gaza conflict, the turmoil in the Middle East, the South China Sea tensions, the Taiwan Strait tensions, the Korean Peninsula disputes, and other international upheavals continue.
What is the root of all this?
The Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party clearly states: the CCP is the source of all evils in today's chaotic world. Wherever the CCP’s influence reaches, there are lies, cruelty, and struggle; there is no peace; there are natural and man-made disasters.
The final words of the Nine Commentaries ask: “What is the future of China? Where is China heading? These heavy questions are complex and far from easy to answer briefly. But one point is clear: if there is no moral reconstruction of the Chinese nation, no renewed understanding of humanity's relationship with nature, heaven, and earth, and no belief and culture of harmonious coexistence among people, then the Chinese nation cannot have a brilliant future.”
“Only without the Chinese Communist Party can there be a new China; only without the Chinese Communist Party will China have hope; only without the Chinese Communist Party can the just and kind Chinese people truly restore the glory of their history.”
Rebuilding morality on the foundation of China’s five thousand years of divinely inspired culture, and uniting the wisdom and courage of all Chinese people and the world to dismantle the CCP, is the fundamental path for China and humanity alike.
Fifth, the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party is a ‘Noah’s Ark’ for saving people.
Professor Ona Voveriene from Vilnius University in Lithuania said, “For many years, I had been wondering why the Communist Party has such power to fundamentally change people’s minds and spirits, but I could never figure it out. Reading Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party enlightened me, revealing the essence of the communist specter. The Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party has opened a new chapter in the world’s anti-communist theoretical research.”
From ancient to modern times, from China to the world, normal people have shared common knowledge, feelings, and reasoning. However, since the CCP took over China, everything abnormal has come into being.
For example, on March 30, 1946, the CCP’s Xinhua Daily published an editorial titled “One-Party Dictatorship Brings Disaster Everywhere.” At that time, the CCP had not yet seized power, so its condemnation of “one-party dictatorship” was the loudest. Yet, after the CCP seized power, it established a dictatorship more absolute, more autocratic, and more sinister than any in history. Why?
Because the Communist Party is a specter. Any CCP member who is possessed by this specter will walk down a path that is contrary to universal values of common knowledge, common feelings, and common reasoning, replacing human nature with party nature.
Those CCP members who prioritize party nature above all, fearing neither heaven nor earth, are willing to commit the most heinous acts imaginable. Such individuals have replaced their humanity with demonic nature, ultimately committing atrocities that only demons could conceive.
On July 20, 1999, CCP dictator Jiang Zemin launched a persecution against the Falun Gong community, who believe in “Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance.” To coerce Falun Gong practitioners into renouncing their beliefs, the CCP engaged in mass-scale organ harvesting, killing practitioners for their organs.
Is this something human beings would do? This is certainly not something done by humans but by demons possessed by the specter of communism.
Good and evil have consequences; this is a universal principle.
Those who order such actions, those who wield the knife, those who participate, and those who remain indifferent to such killing will inevitably face ruin through retribution for their evils.
The Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party reveals to the world the bloody, murderous history of the Communist specter’s control over CCP members, shocking all who learn the truth.
After the Nine Commentaries was published, a global movement to break away from the blood-stained CCP began, sparking a wave of resignations from the CCP and its youth organizations.
According to the Dajiyuan Tuidang website, to date, 437 million Chinese people have renounced the CCP and its affiliated organizations.
This is the greatest spiritual awakening movement in human history, a self-salvation movement for all who do not wish to face divine retribution alongside the CCP demon, to avoid descending into eternal torment.
Conclusion
A reader named “Out of the Dust” wrote: “The Nine Commentaries shocked people awake, guiding those lost with divine help. Recognizing the evil party and understanding its nature, withdrawing from the party is the way out. Dafa practitioners work as volunteers, striving to save others, and no one should remain confused, waiting to rescue themselves after understanding the times. Four hundred million have already withdrawn, shaking the foundation of the evil party’s power. Do not be a sacrificial victim of the party; it’s too foolish to fall for that. In these chaotic times, many are lost in worldly ambitions, unaware of the truth. Let everyone join the movement to ‘three withdrawals,’ removing evil so the universe can be purified.”
Here, I recommend that those who have not yet read Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party find a copy to read. I also hope that after understanding the truth, you promptly withdraw from the CCP, Youth League, and Young Pioneers.
