[People News] The first half of 2026 has been marked by frequent strange occurrences and a series of disasters. The rain sweeping from south to north has transformed many cities and villages into swamps. The COVID-19 pandemic, which previously ravaged the nation and resulted in many fatalities, has once again captured public attention, as more individuals are presenting symptoms and testing positive. As the ancients noted, 'The heavens display signs that indicate fortune and misfortune.' The calamities faced by humanity have long been foreshadowed by celestial events. Let us examine the various celestial phenomena observed in mid to late July.

1. On July 15, the moon eclipses the year star.

The 'Kaiyuan Divination Classics' from the Tang Dynasty mentions in 'Jingzhou Divination': 'When the moon eclipses the year star, the people of that nation will perish from hunger. It is also said that the ruler will die within three years.' 'When the moon eclipses the year star, diseases will emerge in that nation.'

The 'He Tu Di Lan Xi' states: 'When the moon eclipses the year star, famine will strike that nation, lasting one or two years, leading to death.'

This celestial event suggests that the common people will die from starvation, epidemics will arise in the country, and the ruler will meet his demise within three years.

2. On July 15, Mercury retrogrades and the sun enters the eastern well.

Mercury, referred to as the 'morning star,' governs laws and punishments. Its retrograde motion and '伏' (hidden and unseen) are interpreted as signs of northern moisture and legal repercussions. Ancient texts, such as the 'Book of Jin: Astronomical Records,' indicate that its primary omens include: improper governance and punishment, judges in distress, or the potential for military conflict.

The 'Kaiyuan Divination Classics' from the Tang Dynasty states in 'Wenyao Hook': 'When the morning star enters the eastern well, the army is outside; when the star advances, the troops retreat; when the star retreats, the troops advance.' The 'He Tu' states: 'When the morning star enters the eastern well, there will be violent troops.' The 'Jingzhou Divination' states: 'When the morning star enters and exits the eastern well, there will be treacherous ministers.' The Yellow Emperor remarked: 'The morning star guarding the eastern well signifies water.'

This celestial event suggests that 'there are numerous judicial issues in the world' and 'military conflicts are arising both domestically and internationally.' Furthermore, the Jing constellation was historically referred to as 'accumulated water.' If the star patterns are irregular (such as retrograde movements), it foreshadows the likelihood of severe floods or droughts in that year. Could this not be related to the current floods sweeping from south to north?

3. On July 15, the sun, moon, and the star Chen align at the water level, and the moon enters the position of the ghost.

When the sun, moon, and Mercury converge at the northern water level, it is typically interpreted as a portent of significant floods, inundated cities, or distress among the populace.

In the 'Kaiyuan Zhanjing,' Shi remarks: 'When the Chen star encroaches upon the water level, the world suffers from water-related disasters, and ports are rendered impassable; it is said that great floods will inundate cities, harming the people, all within two years.'

The ghost constellation is one of the twenty-eight ancient constellations, specifically the second of the seven southern Zhuque constellations, also known as 'Yǔ Guǐ.' In the 'Kaiyuan Zhanjing,' the 'He Tu Di Lan Xi' states: 'When the moon encroaches upon the ghost, there will be executions of high officials. It is also said that the nation will face troubles.' Chen Zhuo adds: 'When the moon encroaches upon the ghost, the heavenly corpse appears, the monarch faces concerns, great chaos ensues, and high officials are executed.'

This sign also indicates floods and instability within the court.

4. On July 17, Venus enters the Longyuan.

The Longyuan star official is part of the Taiwei and is situated on the southern side of the Ziwei. This area represents the court offices in ancient star classifications. In the 'Kaiyuan Zhanjing,' the 'Gan Jing Fu' states: 'When Venus enters Longyuan, the three dukes and nine ministers take charge, soldiers rise significantly, the world descends into chaos, and the ruler has concerns.'

5. On July 21, the moon encroaches upon the left horn, and the moon rides the heavenly gate.

'Tianmen' is an alternate name for the 'Jiao' constellation within the eastern Azure Dragon seven constellations. The Jiao constellation consists of two stars, with the right horn referred to as 'Tianmen' and the left horn as 'Tian Tian.'

In the "Kaiyuan Zhanjing", Shi Shi remarked: "When the moon is in the left horn, it signifies that the great man is worried, anticipating troubles in June. Another interpretation suggests that ministers are concerned about loss." The "Haizhong Zhan" states: "When the moon is in the horn, the country experiences worry." The "Jingzhou Zhan" notes: "When the moon is in the left horn, ministers face execution, the world encounters flooding, and there are significant imprisonments." "When the moon is in the right horn, the family of the later clan and the generals and ministers face death by law." Qimo explained: "The moon in the left horn indicates drought, while the right horn signifies water."

This celestial event continues to suggest that the court is facing internal strife, and there are water-related disasters on the ground.

6. On July 25 and 26, the moon passed through the Heart constellation, and on the 26th, it drew the Heavenly River.

In the "Kaiyuan Zhanjing", Qimo stated: "When the moon passes through the Heart, the country is in turmoil, and ministers may assassinate the ruler." Shi Shi added: "When the moon passes through the Heart, the governance of the country is in disarray." The "Haizhong Zhan" mentions: "When the moon passes through the Heart, if the ruler does not die within a year, the ministers will rise against him." The Yellow Emperor noted: "When the moon passes through the Heart star, there will be internal chaos in the country for three years."

The Heavenly River is one of the ancient star officials, part of the seven stars of the Eastern Azure Dragon in the twenty-eight lunar mansions, known as the "Tail Star." Shi Shi remarked: "When the moon draws the Heavenly River, there will be significant floods blocking the bridges."

This celestial phenomenon again foreshadows trouble for the ruler. If we relate this to contemporary China, does it suggest that if Xi does not die within a year, he may face rebellion from the ministers?

7. On July 29 and 30, the Year Star was positioned in the Guardian Ghost.

In the "Kaiyuan Zhanjing", Shi Shi stated: "When the Wood is in the Guardian Ghost, there will be accumulated corpses, and the state will have soldiers." "When the Year Star enters and exits the Guardian Ghost, if it remains for fifty days, there will be a significant loss. If it stays for sixty days, national affairs will become unclear. If it remains for a hundred days, half of the population will perish." "The Year Star in the Guardian Ghost indicates that the great man has sacrificial duties."

Qimo noted: "The Year Star in the Guardian Ghost signifies that crops will suffer greatly, leading to countless deaths from hunger. It is also said that many will die from madness." "The great man will meet his end." The "Haizhong Zhan" states: "The Year Star in the Guardian Ghost, with the horn moving, indicates that there are those who may kill the ruler."

The celestial phenomenon continues to be unfavorable for the senior leadership at Zhongnanhai.

July has shown such phenomena; what can we expect in August?
