[People News] On October 10 and 11, 2025, the International Commission for Human Rights and Religious Freedom (ICHRRF) held its annual conference in Lorton, Virginia, USA, focusing on the human rights atrocities faced by women around the world today.
According to The Dajiyuan reporter Zhang Yi, Dr. Nie Sen, honorary retired professor of engineering at the Catholic University of America, spoke at the conference about the CCP’s ongoing, systematic, and brutal persecution of Falun Gong over the past 26 years, including the persecution of female Falun Gong practitioners.
Many attendees said they were shocked by the brutality of the CCP’s persecution of Falun Gong.
“The Largest, Cruelest, and Most Evil Human Rights Atrocity”
Professor Nie Sen stated that the CCP’s brutal persecution of Falun Gong has continued for 26 years to this day.
He said, “The CCP’s persecution of Falun Gong is the largest, most brutal, and most evil human rights atrocity in China’s 5,000-year history.”
“Female Falun Gong practitioners have suffered even more brutal persecution than men; while detained in prisons or labor camps, they were frequently sexually assaulted by police.”
Citing data from Minghui.org, Nie Sen said that between 1999 and 2025, at least 5,231 Falun Gong practitioners have been confirmed killed due to persecution. Among them, 2,902 were women—over 55% of the total. These numbers, he added, are just the tip of the iceberg, as many torture-related deaths remain unknown or unreported.
According to the latest reports, in August 2025 alone, 69 Falun Gong practitioners were illegally sentenced.
Professor Nie Sen described how the CCP has used more than 100 torture methods on Falun Gong practitioners, including beatings, sleep deprivation, injections of nerve-damaging hallucinogenic drugs, electric shocks, forced feeding, killings, sexual assaults, and live organ harvesting.

That day, Washington, D.C., resident and Falun Gong practitioner Chi Lihua also attended the event.
Chi, a former Falun Gong practitioner from Liaoning Province, and her husband Xu Dawei were arrested in 2001 for distributing materials exposing the persecution of Falun Gong. Xu was sentenced to eight years in prison, while Chi was temporarily released due to pregnancy. During his imprisonment, Xu was subjected to extreme torture, including injections and forced feeding of unidentified drugs that damaged the nervous system, as well as needle pricks and other brutal physical punishments. When Xu was released, he was near death and emaciated to the bone. Thirteen days after his release, he died due to the severe physical and psychological trauma caused by torture.
In 2006, United Nations Special Rapporteur on Torture Manfred Nowak reported that Falun Gong practitioners accounted for 66% of all torture cases reported in China, followed by Uyghurs (11%) and Tibetans (6%).
Live Organ Harvesting—An Evil Never Before Seen
Falun Gong practitioners and other prisoners of conscience are the main targets of the CCP’s live organ harvesting.
Nie Sen said, “The CCP’s act of forcibly harvesting organs from millions of living Falun Gong practitioners is an unprecedented evil on Earth—never before seen in either Chinese or world history.”
The CCP’s live organ harvesting atrocities were first exposed in March 2006, when a woman named Annie revealed that at Sujiatun Hospital in northeast China, more than 4,000 Falun Gong practitioners were killed for their organs. Her husband, an eye surgeon, had removed corneas from more than 2,000 living Falun Gong practitioners. Later, a senior Chinese military doctor wrote to The Dajiyuan, confirming that such atrocities were occurring in 36 concentration camps across China. The largest of these camps held 120,000 Falun Gong practitioners; some were even transported in groups at night across the country in so-called “livestock trains.”
An investigation into these allegations began immediately in 2006. Investigators posed as organ buyers and made phone calls to hospitals in China. Shockingly, one doctor after another openly admitted: “We have Falun Gong (organ) donors. If you come, we can provide an organ within one or two weeks.” Medical experts noted that such short waiting times are impossible without a large pool of living organ “donors.”
In the United States, about 100 million people have voluntarily registered as organ donors. Even with such a large number of donors, American patients typically wait two to three years for a kidney transplant, and about 10% of patients die while waiting. Meanwhile, in China, despite lacking a proper organ donation system, patients wait only two to four weeks for transplants.
Nie Sen cited Dr. Robert Destro, former U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor, and Special Coordinator for Tibetan Issues (2019–2021), who stated in a 2021 interview that the CCP’s actions against Falun Gong, in addition to its campaigns in Xinjiang and Tibet, constitute genocide.
Committee Chairman: CCP’s Persecution Is Horrifying
Dr. A. Adityanjee, Chairman and Founder of the International Commission for Human Rights and Religious Freedom (ICHRRF) (Zhang Yi / The Dajiyuan)
Dr. A. Adityanjee, Chairman and Founder of the International Commission for Human Rights and Religious Freedom (ICHRRF), told The Dajiyuan that the CCP’s persecution of Falun Gong is “horrifying.” “The Chinese people are subjected to atrocities inflicted by their own government…”
He said the tragedy experienced by Falun Gong practitioner Chi Lihua’s family is heartbreaking.
“Her story is truly sad. She herself was tortured, and her husband died 13 days after being released due to being injected with dangerous drugs. It’s really heartbreaking.”
Dr. Adityanjee said he was deeply struck by the fact that even today, elderly Falun Gong practitioners over 80 years old are still sentenced by the CCP. “The CCP claims they pose a threat to the government. This is a vile excuse for the Communist Party’s persecution of Chinese citizens. The CCP does not tolerate any dissenting voices. Whether it’s spiritual belief or the people’s appeals, they cannot tolerate any of it. As long as they (the CCP) feel threatened, they must eliminate it — such as Falun Gong.”
He stated that the CCP is hostile to traditional values. “The ideology of the Communist Party is completely contrary to democracy, freedom, and equality.”
“The CCP uses the so-called social credit system to intimidate those who dare to speak the truth. As soon as you criticize the government, your social credit score drops, and you could be arrested. So, this is total control over Chinese citizens,” he said.
Flanagan: Shocked and Heartbroken

Attendee Ms. Meg Flanagan was deeply shocked after hearing Chi Lihua’s story and embraced her.
Flanagan said the brutality of the CCP’s persecution of Falun Gong is “shocking and heartbreaking.”
She stated that the CCP not only persecutes Falun Gong practitioners but also harvests their organs, “which shows that this is a systematic and institutionalized persecution.”
Flanagan said that everyone must “take a stand and make a choice” on how to help end the CCP’s persecution of Falun Gong.
She emphasized that Falun Gong’s principles of “Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance” are universal values. “This concerns the essence of humanity. These values — ‘Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance’ — are what all humankind should pursue and embrace.”
Data Architect: The CCP Is the Enemy of Humanity
Ankush Bhandari (Zhang Yi / The Dajiyuan)
Ankush Bhandari, a data architect at a Fortune 500 company, said that the CCP’s persecution of Falun Gong is “thought-provoking and extremely heartbreaking.”
He stated that the Chinese Communist Party is an enemy of the world and of humanity. “The CCP is completely dangerous because it wants to control everything. It is the enemy of humanity.”
Bhandari emphasized that no matter how brutal the CCP’s persecution is, it will ultimately fail. “Killing or silencing someone cannot extinguish an idea. The spark remains, and sooner or later, the flame will ignite.”
“I’d like to quote this saying: ‘History has its own way of turning hunters into the architects of their own nightmares.’ You may be the hunter now, but history has shown that hunters can become the makers of their own nightmares. Look at the fate of Gaddafi, Saddam Hussein, and Hitler—history has already witnessed many such examples,” he said. △
