Investment data shows that the Chinese Communist Party's Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) has shifted from large-scale infrastructure projects to less capital-intensive sectors such as IT and biotechnology.
[People News] Many Chinese who have lived abroad for a long time have come to realize that food products from China are not necessarily of poor quality. This is because the CCP actively works to present a good international image while also trying to discredit so-called "hostile forces" that expose issues like toxic baby formula and cooking oil scandals. However, no one could have predicted that the recent Myanmar earthquake would specifically destroy a building constructed by a Chinese state-owned enterprise, located thousands of miles away, thus exposing the substandard construction, corruption, and deceit exported through the CCP’s Belt and Road Initiative (BRI). The incident has forced the Thai government to launch an investigation into China Railway No.10 Engineering Group (CREC10).
However, CREC10 didn’t just sit around waiting for an investigation—it vanished without a trace before Thai authorities could take action.
According to a March 31 report by the Thai English-language online media outlet Thai Enquirer, a Thai railway investigation team, along with law enforcement officials, visited the Bangkok headquarters of CREC10's Thailand branch, located in Thung Khru District, only to find the office completely shut down and deserted. Calls to the company’s registered phone numbers, including both landlines and mobile phones, went unanswered. The Thai Ministry of Commerce planned to hold a meeting on April 1 to discuss the investigation's progress and determine further actions. The ministry is now investigating whether CREC10 was operating illegally in Thailand. Commerce Minister Pichai Naripthaphan stated that the primary focus of the investigation is whether CREC10 was using Thai proxies to conduct business, effectively serving as a front for foreign commercial activities. If found guilty of illegal business operations, the company could face severe penalties, including hefty fines and even criminal prosecution.
Prior to this, local media reported that four Chinese men exploited the chaos to steal 32 documents from the collapsed building and were subsequently arrested by authorities. Netizens suspect that this incident may be an attempt by China Railway 10th Bureau to destroy evidence of its illegal activities.
Recently, Thai authorities released preliminary investigation results, revealing that at least two types of steel used in the building's construction failed to meet quality standards. One of these types originated from a Chinese factory that was shut down last year.
Following the news, the corruption issues surrounding the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) Belt and Road Initiative once again captured public attention. Some netizens commented that it was fortunate the building was not completed and Thai officials had not yet moved in; otherwise, the 33-story structure could have resulted in a significant loss of life among officials. Others candidly pointed out that in the CCP's China, the dictatorship monopolizes all social resources and information channels, making it common for poorly constructed projects to lead to fatalities, yet few are aware of these incidents. The CCP has become desensitized to such occurrences. Now that this news has reached international audiences, it undoubtedly tarnishes the image of the CCP's Belt and Road Initiative and its external propaganda efforts. Netizens suspect that under CCP governance, various entities may export practices such as 'cutting corners' and multi-layer subcontracting, as well as design negligence, commonly seen in mainland China, to overseas projects.
Amidst the rising discussions, news has also emerged of another Belt and Road project by the CCP in Malaysia experiencing an explosion.
According to a report from New Head Shell, a Belarusian media outlet, NEXTA tweeted that on April 1, local time, a natural gas pipeline operated by Malaysia's national oil company suddenly exploded in the suburb of Putrajaya, Kuala Lumpur, resulting in a large fire. As of now, the incident has left 33 people injured, with 6 individuals urgently hospitalized. Local firefighters are continuing their efforts to rescue trapped individuals and extinguish the flames.
X platform user 'Tuxedo Banchero' provided further details in a tweet, indicating that the gas pipeline involved in the incident is approximately 500 meters long, and initial assessments suggest that the explosion may be linked to a leak in the pipeline. Authorities have deployed a significant number of rescue personnel to assist residents trapped in the area. Another X user, 'People's Daily,' noted that the exploded gas pipeline was constructed by a Chinese company as part of the 'Belt and Road Initiative' project, raising concerns about the low construction standards associated with the Chinese Communist Party's 'Belt and Road' initiative. They criticized the government for exporting 'tofu dregs projects,' calling the situation 'truly terrible.'
The 'Belt and Road Initiative' serves as the cornerstone of Xi Jinping's ambitious diplomatic strategy to 'guide the world,' aimed at expanding geopolitical influence and countering advanced nations in Europe and America. However, critics argue that the Chinese Communist Party is engaging in economic imperialism or neo-colonialism through this initiative, leading many impoverished countries into significant debt and creating debt traps, with projects of poor quality. Many regions are plagued by facade projects, substandard constructions, and unfinished projects, which may not yield real economic development or trade opportunities.
It is not only issues like shoddy construction and corruption that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is responsible for; it also exports live organ harvesting, kidnapping, intimidation, party culture, and theft to the international community—actions that are destructive and against humanity. Countries that have blindly believed the CCP's lies and are deeply intertwined with it are beginning to face severe and painful lessons. Despite the CCP's attempts to win favor with some southern nations through generous financial aid or debt relief, these countries are suffering greatly from the helplessness of having their regimes hijacked, their social and natural resources exploited, their national values undermined, and their internal affairs interfered with.
To achieve independent, normal, free, and prosperous development, it is crucial to break free from the CCP and its constraints. This requires collaboration with the awakened Chinese people to expose the CCP's lies, disguises, duality, calamities, rogue behavior, and violent nature. Only then can China liberate itself from the CCP's influence, paving the way for peace, civilization, and prosperity in the world.
