[People News] November 19, 2025, is the 21st anniversary of the publication of The Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party. This series of editorials exposing the evil nature of the CCP, since its release in 2004, has triggered a spiritual awakening movement that shocked Chinese communities worldwide—the “Three Withdrawals Movement,” meaning withdrawal from the Chinese Communist Party, the Communist Youth League, and the Young Pioneers.

Dajiyuan reporters Cheng Mulan and Chang Chun interviewed and reported that over the 21 years the global “Three Withdrawals Movement” has continued to gain momentum and more people are awakening. This year the number of people filing real-name quit-party declarations has increased. As of November 19 this year, according to statistics from the Global Quit-the-Party Center, the cumulative global number of “Three Withdrawals” has approached 455 million—an unprecedented scale. Quit-party volunteers have persisted for more than twenty years, transmitting truth with conviction and witnessing this historic moment of Chinese spiritual awakening.

Quit-party Fever Rises; Real-Name Quit-Party Numbers Increase

According to the quit-party website (tuidang.org), from January to October this year the number of people obtaining “real-name quit-party certificates” through the quit-party center grew by 32.2% compared with the same period last year. Quit-party declarations arrive daily like snowflakes, showing that more Chinese people, after circumventing the firewall to learn the truth, are choosing to sever ties with the CCP.

Liu Tianhao from Fuzhou, Jiangxi Province recently posted a statement on the quit-party website saying: “I once voluntarily became a black hand of the Party, but after going over the firewall and seeing the truth I deeply regret it!” He printed The Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party on paper and distributed it at schools, hoping thereby to lighten his sins.

Chen Xingyu and Zhang Shiying said in their statements that they frequently traveled between Hong Kong and Taiwan in the past and avoided getting involved in politics, remaining indifferent to the “Three Withdrawals.” But in the past two years they felt the CCP’s heavy-handed cross-provincial enforcement and brutal handling of petitioners, even using triad-style intimidation against family members, which caused them to completely lose trust in the CCP. Therefore, they announced their withdrawal from CCP organizations and chose to become “non-partisan individuals.”

On the 17th, Gao Jingxian and 26 others jointly declared their withdrawal from all Communist Party organizations. They said The Nine Commentaries made them see the monstrous crimes in the CCP’s history, and they believe gods and Buddhas will surely bring this evil organization to justice.

Global Quit-the-Party Center chairman Wang Zhiyuan told The Dajiyuan reporter: obtaining a quit-party certificate not only represents a moral choice but also has historical collectible value. He said: “In the future you can tell your descendants with a clear conscience that during humanity’s darkest times you chose the side of justice.”

Two Decades of Steadfastness — Quit-Party Volunteers Tell the Chinese the Truth

Since the quit-party website was established in January 2005 and the Global Quit-the-Party Service Center was formed in February of that year, the Three Withdrawals Movement has spread worldwide. Falun Gong practitioners and volunteers from diverse backgrounds, undaunted by threats, continue to spread the truth so more people can escape the CCP’s clutches and choose a righteous future.

Shi Lijun, a quit-party volunteer now living in New York who has participated in the Three Withdrawals Movement for more than twenty years, told The Dajiyuan: “Recently the number of people quitting has increased; many were awakened by the Yu Menglong incident, which made those who still harbored illusions about the Party completely disillusioned and recognize the CCP as a thoroughly criminal organization.”

She said she has long helped Chinese people understand the truth about the CCP by setting up booths at tourist sites, making phone calls, and sending information via WeChat. “During the pandemic there were few mainland tourists, so we switched to WeChat to spread information. Now many people, after circumventing the firewall, understand the truth and voluntarily choose ‘Three Withdrawals.’”

Addressing the common question, “Is the ‘Three Withdrawals’ political?” Shi Lijun stressed: “Falun Gong practitioners have no political demands; we practice the teachings and exercises and expose the CCP’s evil so that people distance themselves from this evil party. People originally pledged to give their lives to the Party—that was a poison oath. Quitting erases that poison oath and lets you choose a good future for yourself.”

Shi Lijun recalled encountering a mainland young man in his thirties visiting the U.S. who, upon seeing the display panels, angrily labeled Falun Gong “a cult.” She calmly responded: “Falun Gong teaches ‘Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance,’ universal values; the Communist Party teaches lies, evil, and struggle—who is truly evil?” She then showed him photos of people in various countries practicing Falun Gong and clarified that the “self-immolation” propaganda was fabricated by the CCP.

“I asked him, why do you hate Falun Gong? Isn’t it because you only listened to the Party’s one-sided words? People have two ears so they can hear different voices!” In the end the young man was persuaded and completed a “Three Withdrawals” on the spot, thanking her for letting him know the truth.

On another occasion a tour guide sneered: “How much do you make a day? Why don’t you do something else instead of this?” Shi Lijun replied, “We pay for these leaflets ourselves. I pay for my own travel and spend my spare time here telling the truth. I run a business and only come after arranging my workers at the shop.”

She added, “In mainland China, Falun Gong practitioners, to transmit the truth, scrimp and save to print materials; once arrested they may truly be persecuted to death. Who would do this for money?”

International Attention Rises — U.S. Government Establishes “Anti-Communism Week”

Beyond broad civic participation, international officials increasingly recognize the CCP threat. On November 7, President Trump announced November 2–8 as “Anti-Communism Week” on the “Day of Commemoration for Victims of Communism.”

In the proclamation President Trump reaffirmed the nation’s commitment: “Resolutely resist communism, defend freedom and human values, and reaffirm that no government system can replace the free will and conscience of the people.”

The proclamation pointed out the poison and harm communism has brought to humanity: “For more than a century, communism has brought only destruction. Where it goes, dissent is silenced, faith is punished, and generation after generation is forced to kneel before state power rather than stand for freedom. Its history is written in blood and sorrow, a harsh reminder: communism is simply another word for enslavement.”

Recently the actor Yu Menglong’s case drew attention, and the public widely believes he was suppressed by the CCP—becoming a fuse that ignited a new wave of quit-party awakening. Shi Lijun noted: “The Party’s evil grows more extreme; many ordinary people, after circumventing the firewall and seeing the truth, have their values overturned and realize the CCP’s evil exceeds imagination.”

Shi Lijun urged: “I hope those who have not yet done the ‘Three Withdrawals’ will wake up soon and see through the CCP’s evil. The CCP does not want the Chinese to be smart; it prefers you to be dumber and lack independent judgment so it can control you.”

The Nine Commentaries Exposed the CCP’s Demonic Nature and Sparked the “Three Withdrawals” Tide

On November 19, 2004, The Dajiyuan first published the editorial series The Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, profoundly and comprehensively revealing the various crimes the CCP has committed against the Chinese people since it came to power. The series explicitly states: the Communist Party is “against nature, against heaven, against earth, against humanity; it is an evil being opposed to the universe.”

Global Quit-the-Party Center chairman Wang Zhiyuan told The Dajiyuan: “The publication of this book set off a vast wave of quitting the Party and initiated the countdown to the CCP’s disintegration. Quitting CCP organizations is not only a moral choice, it is self-preservation, winning a bright future for yourself and your family.”

One month after The Nine Commentaries was published, on January 13, 2005, The Dajiyuan issued a “Solemn Statement,” publicly calling on all Chinese who had ever participated in the Communist Party and its affiliated organizations to “leave quickly and erase the evil mark.” Wang Zhiyuan emphasized: “This evil Party is a demonic cult that has committed atrocious crimes against sentient beings and gods and Buddhas; divine justice will punish this demon. By withdrawing from the Chinese Communist Party, the Communist Youth League, and the Young Pioneers (the ‘Three Withdrawals’), one can avoid being buried with it when heaven destroys the CCP.”

The Dajiyuan editorials state: “Quitting the Party is not engaging in politics, nor seeking power; it is a spiritual redemption from the standpoint of morality.” The quit-party tide sparked by The Nine Commentaries has been hailed as “an unprecedented act of dismantling evil, arguably the greatest revival of humanity in history.”△
