[People News] On November 10, RBI, the parent company of Burger King, entered into a twenty-year development agreement with the Chinese private equity firm CPE Yuanfeng, establishing a joint venture named 'Burger King China.' CPE Yuanfeng will invest $350 million into Burger King China, acquiring approximately 83% of the equity, while RBI will retain about 17%.

On November 3, Starbucks announced that it had agreed to sell up to 60% of its Chinese retail business to private equity firm Boyu Capital, with the deal valued at $4 billion. The agreement specifies that Boyu Capital and Starbucks will operate nearly 8,000 stores in China through a joint venture. Starbucks stated in a press release that it will maintain ownership of the brand and intellectual property, granting the new entity a license to use them.

Chinese Communist Party media have framed this as a means to better localise international brands. Two months ago, self-media figure Jiang Wangzheng revealed that the CCP plans to spearhead a movement to eliminate dominant players across various industries. He cited Guo Degang as an example, suggesting that while the crosstalk industry could flourish, Guo Degang would not be allowed to monopolise it. Is foreign capital also a clear target? Commentators are analysing whether Western companies are withdrawing due to the CCP's economic troubles or if significant events are on the horizon within mainland China. Insights can be drawn from a letter by Luo Yonghao.

A month ago, Luo Yonghao was embroiled in a fierce battle with Xibei, and the public was captivated, believing it to be yet another corporate upheaval instigated by the 'Internet Hammer' Luo Yonghao. However, there are deeper conspiracies at play behind the scenes.

Zhou Mingfeng, a self-media figure, received a letter believed to be from Luo Yonghao. Notably, the email address is quite unusual: [email protected]. ProtonMail is a secure, encrypted email service based in Switzerland, known for its core principles of 'privacy first and extremely high security.' This makes it a popular choice among journalists, researchers, activists, corporate executives, and privacy-conscious users. The servers of ProtonMail are located in Geneva, Switzerland, and the service was founded by scientists from the European Organisation for Nuclear Research (CERN) after the Snowden incident, aiming to prevent surveillance and operate outside the jurisdiction of the U.S. Patriot Act. ProtonMail also has an official Tor address, which allows for safer access in the dark web environment.

Zhou Mingfeng described the content of the letter as something only insiders from national security could write, filled with coded language. The specific content is as follows:

'Esteemed Master Zhou, I am loyal to the country. After the events of '89, my father and I joined the covert front and have achieved significant accomplishments. Now, following the instructions of the elder brother of the Donggan tribe, I am tasked with rectifying a certain enterprise. However, this has unexpectedly affected the interests of the elite in Inner Mongolia, putting my family's lives at risk. Sources from Inner Mongolia have indicated that the involvement of ecological protection and the Ministry of Rural Affairs has led to dissatisfaction, which may be exploited by Mongolian independence forces. I am entangled with 179 members of a certain Japanese party linked to Korean religious groups, and if I flee to Japan, I fear being silenced by right-wingers due to ADHD rumours. I have returned to the country out of necessity. I possess evidence of celebrities using drugs and sincerely request your support in speaking out for justice, helping me escape this dangerous situation, and protecting national interests! doge'

Zhou Mingfeng explained: The first sentence states, 'Respected Master Zhou, I am loyal to the country. After the events of '89, my father and I joined the covert operations and have repeatedly achieved merit.'

Joining the covert operations implies becoming part of the espionage system. However, the CCP's spy network consists of the Public Security system, the National Security system, and the United Front system. The first sentence does not clarify which faction Luo Yonghao belongs to. This statement indicates that after the June 4th incident in 1989, the Korean ethnic Luo Yonghao and his father became part of the CCP's espionage system. According to public records, Luo Yonghao was born in 1972 into a Korean family in Helong County (now Helong City), Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture, Jilin Province. His father, Luo Changzhen, served as the Secretary of the Committee of Helong County and the Deputy Secretary of the Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture Committee.

The second sentence reads, 'Now, following the instructions of the elder brother from the Donggan ethnic group, I am reorganising a certain enterprise, unexpectedly touching the interests of the elite in Inner Mongolia, and my family's life is under threat.'

Zhou Mingfeng clarified that Xi Jinping is a descendant of the Donggan ethnic Bai Yanhui, and the elder brother of the Donggan ethnic refers to a member of Xi Jinping's family, though it is not specified whether it is Xi Jinping or Xi Yuanping. The reorganisation of a certain enterprise refers to the verbal conflict with Xibei. The founder of Xibei, Jia Guolong, hails from Bayannur City in Inner Mongolia, and it remains unclear who else supports Jia Guolong. This implies that Xi's family directed Luo Yonghao to undermine Xibei. Zhou Mingfeng further explained that Luo Yonghao merely posted on Weibo that Xibei's food was not good, while the real instigator of the online conflict was the Cyberspace Administration.

The third sentence states, 'Sources from Inner Mongolia have revealed that the involvement of ecological and environmental protection and the Ministry of Rural Affairs has led to dissatisfaction and may be exploited by Mongolian independence forces.'

Zhou Mingfeng explained that there are forces advocating for Mongolian independence in Inner Mongolia. Du Wen, an Inner Mongolian, previously disclosed that Cai Qi, acting on Xi Jinping's instructions, intended to use Wang Lixia as a scapegoat for the party. Wang Lixia managed to send a message from prison, prompting her family to seek protection from the Yun family in Inner Mongolia, which allowed her to avoid execution.

Xibei has indeed faced pressure from environmental protection and rural affairs departments. In 2020, it was reported that Xibei was fined by the environmental protection agency. The reason cited was that the back kitchens of Xibei's four and nine stores in Beijing lacked oil fume purification facilities in the hot soup area during the normal preparation of Chinese dishes, resulting in the discharge of oily waste gas without any purification, which polluted the surrounding air. According to the 'Atmospheric Pollutant Emission Standards for the Catering Industry' (DB11/1488-2018), catering establishments that emit oily fumes without purification equipment are deemed to be exceeding emission limits.

Xibei faced scrutiny due to its pre-prepared dishes. In March 2024, several departments of the State Council of the Communist Party of China, including the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, jointly issued a notice titled 'Notice on Strengthening the Safety Supervision of Pre-prepared Dishes and Promoting High-Quality Development of the Industry,' which explicitly included 'pre-prepared dishes' under regulatory oversight.

The fourth sentence states: 'I am involved with the Korean religious factions of 179 members from a certain Japanese party, and if I flee to Japan, I fear being silenced by right-wing elements due to rumours of ADHD.'

Zhou Mingfeng clarified that the Japanese party he referred to is the Liberal Democratic Party, while the religious group in South Korea is the Unification Church. He did not address the rumours regarding right-wing ADHD. However, online public information indicates that some Japanese netizens and political commentators describe the chaotic, emotional, and extreme behaviours of right-wing politicians as 'ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder)'.

In 2022, former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe was assassinated. On July 9, the Japanese magazine 'Modern Business' published an exclusive report stating that 'Tetsuya Yamagami, who assassinated former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, disclosed the name of the religious group - the Unification Church.' The Washington Post reported on the 11th that the 'Unification Church' confirmed that Yamagami's mother is a member and stated that they are cooperating with the police investigation. Zhou Mingfeng noted that the South Korean Unification Church is being run by Luo Yonghao. This revelation by Luo Yonghao may imply that there is not necessarily a connection between the Unification Church and the Japanese right-wing Liberal Democratic Party.

The fifth sentence reads: 'I have returned to the country, which was truly forced. I possess evidence of a celebrity using drugs, and I earnestly request you to speak out for justice, help me escape from danger, and protect national interests! doge'

Zhou Mingfeng explained that he did not understand what the evidence of a celebrity using drugs referred to. He believes that only evidence of Yang Lanlan's drug use would be significant. Recently, self-media figure Wang Jizhou revealed that someone had seen Yang Lanlan's passport, which was issued in Inner Mongolia. Does this statement imply that Yang Lanlan uses drugs? Further verification is needed. Lastly, the term 'doge' in simplified Chinese translates to 'Dong Ge.' Could this be a code name for Luo Yonghao's own spy identity?

Zhou Mingfeng disclosed on the program that Xi Jinping aims to provoke independence in Inner Mongolia, which could subsequently inspire the independence of Northeast Manchuria. Online analyses of DNA surveys among mainland Chinese populations reveal that the Han ethnic group has a complex composition. In the course of ethnic integration, it is challenging to identify individuals who are purely Han. It is possible that the notion of 'Han ethnic independence' is simply a ploy intended to facilitate a coup.
