After the death of Chinese actor Yu Menglong from a fall, the news was completely censored. The public suspects that the cause of death is not simple, and rumors involving CCP officials have ignited public outrage and a wave of withdrawals from the Chinese Communist Party (the “Three Withdrawals”). [People News]On September 11, Chinese actor Yu Menglong tragically fell to his death. The topic remains one of the hottest on the internet.
On the social platform Threads, a post in simplified Chinese once asked: “Why are Taiwanese people paying so much attention to Yu Menglong’s case?” — sparking heated debate between netizens across the strait. In response to Chinese users’ doubts, a Taiwanese user replied, “Because he’s a human being first, then a Chinese person,” which received thousands of likes.
Some users directly stated that the biggest difference between Taiwan and the mainland lies in freedom of speech — the ability to apply public pressure through open discussion and supervision, allowing the power of the people to be expressed.
“Never Give Up,” Netizens Say
A global petition titled “Justice for Yu Menglong,” launched by netizens on the international NGO AVAAZ, had gathered more than 440,000 signatures as of October 17.
The petitioners listed three demands:Launch an independent investigation; Prosecute those involved; and Issue a public apology from relevant authorities.
The motivation behind the petition stemmed from numerous suspicious points in Yu Menglong’s “accidental” death. Netizens have released a large amount of evidence, including videos and audio clips, allegedly showing Yu enduring brutal torture and screaming in agony. Many pieces of evidence point to a premeditated and cruel killing, allegedly involving black magic, ritual sacrifice, live organ harvesting, arms trading, and torture. Yet, the CCP authorities have ignored the overwhelming public outcry.
One YouTube user commented:“He (Yu Menglong) was single-handedly confronting the darkest power in the world. It was deeply profound and has changed the inner world and life paths of countless people. He might not influence evil people, but he could help countless kind and innocent ones.”
Another netizen said:“Now it’s a test of endurance. They (the CCP) thought netizens wouldn’t persist for more than a month, but the case remains just as hot today, and the petition numbers are rising faster and faster. We’ll never give up. If the evil ones aren’t brought to justice soon, we’ll keep pushing toward 500,000, even one million signatures. Yu Menglong held on for twelve years—we can too! We are determined to use the power of public opinion to write the story of the kind and righteous Yu Menglong into history!”
Another wrote:“Those who killed Yu Menglong are devils! Those who harm others for profit and lust are devils. I know that the voices of a few people are like eggs striking stones before this crowd of devils. That’s why we, who have freedom of speech, must speak for them! The power of unity is immense—don’t underestimate our small voices. When united, they can cause a butterfly effect! Resistance doesn’t have to rely on force—this is a civilized era. Let’s use civilized ways to help! The power of the internet connects everyone around the world. We hope good news will continue to come. There are still many kind people in this world!”
According to media reports, many netizens, after learning the details of Yu Menglong’s case, have come to recognize the evil nature of the CCP, sparking a massive wave of withdrawals from the Party, the Communist Youth League, and the Young Pioneers. Over the past month, the number of “Three Withdrawals” has averaged more than 40,000 people per day. In September alone, more than one million Chinese people completed the withdrawal process through the Global Quit CCP website.
A “Death Prediction” From Four Years Ago
Recently, netizens uncovered new evidence showing that Yu Menglong’s former agency, the CCP-affiliated Tianyu Media, had seemingly issued a “death prediction” as early as September 11, 2021—four years before Yu’s death—suggesting that he had long been targeted.
According to Newtalk News, conspiracy theories about Yu Menglong’s fall are spreading wildly online. The case is suspected to involve hidden rules and dark money flows in the entertainment industry. Some netizens dug up a Tianyu Media post from four years ago that appeared to predict Yu’s death. The post said:“Mandate of Heaven… Four years from today, Menglong ascends. You will know then…”
Moreover, in Tianyu Media’s “New Media Rankings” release, Yu Menglong’s photo was the only one in black and white, while all others were in color. Netizens noted that this post was published by Tianyu Media in 2021, and at that time people assumed “Menglong ascends” meant the company intended to make him a superstar or award winner. Now, revisiting it in light of his date of death, many find it chilling and ominous.
A flood of angry comments followed:“What kind of disgusting company is this?”“Joining Tianyu means certain death!”“Too horrifying—Tianyu is a killer organization!”
In fact, Tianyu Media has had multiple cases of artists disappearing or dying under suspicious circumstances over the past 20 years — including Tan Beixi, Shang Yubo, Bian Ce, Ben Xi, Qiao Renliang, Ren Jiao, and Cai Zhong, among others — leading to widespread speculation.
Possibly due to public pressure, Mango Super Media, the company behind Tianyu Media, is now facing a wave of high-level resignations. In addition, its stock price has fallen continuously for several days, plunging more than 11%, wiping out about 7.67 billion yuan (≈US$1.05 billion) in market value.
Furthermore, netizens made a shocking discovery while digging for the truth: the basement of Beijing’s 798 Art Museum is allegedly a detention and killing site for “disobedient” celebrities, politicians, and public figures. There, victims are reportedly harvested for organs or turned into specimens, which are then displayed as “art exhibits.” △
