[People News] Taiwanese celebrity Big S (Barbie Hsu) recently passed away suddenly in Japan after contracting influenza A at the age of 48, shocking Chinese-speaking communities worldwide. The news also quickly went viral in mainland China. People were not only stunned by how she deteriorated and died within just five days, but also felt the urgent need to reassess the current influenza A outbreak—not just in Japan, but also in mainland China, where the flu has been spreading for some time and has already caused numerous deaths.

The CCP’s state media has been aggressively hyping up reports about Japan’s flu outbreak. On February 5, Xinhua News Agency’s Tokyo branch published an article titled "Japan’s Flu Outbreak Has Passed Its Peak, But Experts Warn Against Letting Down Guard." It cited data from Japan’s National Institute of Infectious Diseases, stating that in the first four weeks of 2025, the number of flu cases reported by approximately 5,000 designated medical institutions had dropped sharply—from a peak 64.39 cases per facility (between December 23–29) to 33.82, 35.02, 18.38, and finally 11.06 cases in subsequent weeks, marking a total decrease of 82.8%. The number of cases in the third and fourth weeks had returned to normal seasonal levels.

As of January 26, 2025, it is estimated that 9.523 million people in Japan (7.7% of the population) had contracted the flu. However, the Xinhua article quoted unnamed “experts” who speculated that while flu cases were decreasing, influenza B could spread in the coming months, causing another surge. The report also highlighted how Japan’s flu season coincided with a mycoplasma pneumonia outbreak, as well as shortages of medications and hospital beds.

While Chinese state media aggressively portrays Japan’s flu outbreak as severe, it deliberately avoids discussing the worsening epidemic in China itself. Many netizens mocked this hypocrisy, commenting: “Instead of laughing at Japan, why don’t you check out your own crematoriums? They’re overwhelmed. But even if you did, you wouldn’t dare talk about it—unless you want to get a visit from the authorities.”

On Chinese social media, many people have shared firsthand accounts of overcrowded hospitals across the country. Emergency rooms are packed, respiratory departments are overwhelmed, and some patients reported waiting behind hundreds of people to receive medical attention. Numerous videos have surfaced showing desperate parents mourning their children who died from flu complications. Many have reported cases of influenza leading to “white lung” (severe pneumonia) and death. Doctors in China have warned that this strain of influenza A is more dangerous than COVID-19, seemingly targeting children in particular. It spreads easily among them and can trigger high-fever seizures.

On January 8, 2024, Dr. Gao Wei, a well-known medical science communicator with 29.01 million followers on Douyin (China’s TikTok), released a viral video titled "Urgent Warning: Outbreak of Viral Myocarditis in Children." He warned parents to be vigilant about heart inflammation following flu recovery. The video garnered tens of millions of views, 940,000 likes, and 43,000 comments.

In the comments, many netizens described tragic cases of flu-induced heart inflammation (myocarditis) leading to sudden deaths—affecting people of all ages, but especially children. Symptoms reportedly worsen extremely fast, sometimes leading to death within mere hours. One netizen from Guangxi described how, in just one month, four people in their neighborhood had died—from ages 12 to 55. Their symptoms were the same: "Fever, no runny nose, no sore throat, no diarrhea—just headaches, dizziness, and joint pain. They went to a clinic for IV drips. Some collapsed and died on the spot, while others died after returning home."

It’s not just children who are falling critically ill—many adults are also dying from flu-induced myocarditis, heart attacks, and strokes. One netizen from Jiangsu noted: "Go visit a cemetery—40% of the graves belong to people between 50 and 60 years old."

In early January, China’s CDC (Center for Disease Control and Prevention) released a surveillance report claiming that the flu positivity rate was rising, with 99% of cases being influenza A. However, many Chinese citizens question this claim, suspecting that the outbreak isn’t just the flu but rather a new variant of COVID-19. Some comments read: "This is just another version of COVID-19." "The virus mutated, but doctors are avoiding mentioning its real name." "There’s no effective treatment."

Some Chinese healthcare professionals have privately disclosed that multiple viruses are currently spreading in China, including: Influenza A; A new COVID-19 variant; Even avian flu (H5N1). The spread of these viruses has resulted in widespread deaths, but the CCP continues to cover up the true situation. Quarantine zones are still being expanded nationwide, and some sources have ominously warned: "A mass-death event will happen." Yet, the CCP remains committed to hiding the real scale of the crisis.

On January 18, China’s National Health Commission (NHC) claimed that the recent surge in influenza cases was part of a normal seasonal trend and stated that positivity rates were beginning to decline in northern regions, with some southern provinces also showing a downward trend.

However, numerous netizens across China have shared alarming reports of rising deaths in their local areas: Shenyang: A netizen claimed that local crematoriums now require appointments due to high demand, sparking concerns of a resurging COVID-19 outbreak. Dalian: A hospitalized patient lamented that there were no effective treatments and reported that several neighbors had already died. Xi’an: Hospitals were overcrowded, making it impossible to get an appointment. Crematoriums were reportedly so full that they had to rent out nearby farmhouses to serve as temporary mourning halls, charging by the hour. Shandong: A resident surnamed Han said that flu cases were severe, even small rural clinics were full, and patients needed over ten days of IV drips. He noted that in one village alone, multiple people had died. Shanxi: A man surnamed Luo said that the death rate among the elderly had skyrocketed, causing long queues at crematoriums. Many were forced to bribe officials to expedite funeral services.

American virologists and scholars have pointed out that China’s winter respiratory infection crisis is unusually severe. Based on widespread reports of critical cases, deaths, and overwhelmed crematoriums, they believe this outbreak far exceeds typical seasonal flu trends—indicating that China may be facing a new epidemic. Yet, the CCP continues to conceal the truth, resulting in countless severe cases and deaths.

Three Key Causes of Severe Illness and Death: 1. Many individuals who previously contracted COVID-19 have experienced weakened immune systems, leaving them vulnerable to severe flu complications. COVID-19’s long-term effects include shingles, insomnia, memory loss, heart attacks, strokes, lung nodules, leukemia, myocarditis, and more. With immunity already damaged, flu infections can easily escalate to myocarditis, white lung (severe pneumonia), and other critical conditions.

2. The current outbreak appears to involve a mix of avian flu (H5N1), new COVID variants, and influenza A. However, hospitals are deliberately avoiding COVID-19 testing, treating all cases as influenza A. This misdiagnosis leads to ineffective treatments and worsening conditions.

3. Following China’s bulk procurement of generic drugs, hospitals now primarily use lower-quality medications, which are far less effective than their original counterparts. This has led to worsening patient outcomes, an increase in critical cases, and higher mortality rates.

The most critical issue is the decline in immunity caused by COVID-19 infection. It can be said that the COVID-19 pandemic has brought immense disaster to people worldwide. Meanwhile, the United States has resumed its investigation into the origins of the 2019 COVID-19 outbreak.

January 20, 2025: On his first day in office, President Donald Trump signed an executive order withdrawing the U.S. from the World Health Organization (WHO).

January 25: The CIA, under newly appointed Director John Ratcliffe, revised its assessment of COVID-19’s origins, now favoring the lab-leak theory.

January 27: The State of Missouri filed a renewed lawsuit against the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) for its role in causing and exacerbating the COVID-19 pandemic. The case, being heard in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri, demands $25 billion in damages for residents’ suffering.

January 31: White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre stated in a press briefing that "COVID-19 originated from a laboratory in Wuhan, China. This is a confirmed fact."

February 3: Elon Musk posted on X (formerly Twitter): "Did you know that USAID used your tax dollars to fund bioweapons research—including COVID-19—leading to millions of deaths?" His comment directly pointed to Wuhan’s involvement in the pandemic.

The CCP is deliberately using the death of Taiwanese celebrity Big S in Japan to exaggerate foreign flu outbreaks, while simultaneously blocking information about China’s own severe flu crisis. This mirrors the CCP’s tactics in 2019, when it: Spread COVID-19 internationally while falsely blaming the U.S. Enforced three years of extreme lockdowns, causing mass suffering inside China. Inflicted a global humanitarian and economic disaster.

The CCP fears nothing more than a full-fledged U.S. investigation into COVID-19’s origins. However, the truth will eventually come to light.
