(The Center Square) – President Donald Trump criticized former President Joe Biden for his handling of the fentanyl crisis and sent a message to Chinese President Xi Jinping.

Trump stated he set up a deal with Jinping where he would have imposed the death penalty on fentanyl dealers in China sending drugs to the U.S. during his presidency but that Biden did not agree to it.

Highlighting the devastating impact of fentanyl, Trump said families never recover from losing loved ones to the crisis. Trump blamed the current administration for not addressing the issue effectively, calling the 2020 election "rigged" and Biden "incompetent." He emphasized the urgency of action to curb fentanyl trafficking through Mexico and Canada.

“President Xi," Trump said. "We don’t want that crap in our country.”
