[October 22, 2024] November 19 marks the 20th anniversary of the publication of Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party (referred to as Nine Commentaries) by The Epoch Times. This monumental work critically examines the history and nature of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), sounding the death knell for the CCP and the century-old international communist movement. The Epoch Times and NTD Television will host a series of seminars worldwide to commemorate this anniversary.

Since its release, Nine Commentaries has generated widespread impact and is considered a book that is actively “disintegrating the CCP.” It has been translated into at least 33 languages and made into a documentary series distributed worldwide.

The Nine Commentaries has awakened the Chinese people spiritually, allowing them to see the true nature of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and sparking a global movement to quit the Party, Youth League, and Young Pioneers. Many Chinese now regard affiliation with the CCP as shameful, seeking instead to distance themselves from and reject it. The Nine Commentaries has served as a kind of Noah's Ark, with reading it and withdrawing from CCP organizations becoming essential steps in self-preservation for millions of Chinese people.

The Nine Commentaries deeply analyzes topics such as: what the Chinese Communist Party is, how it came to power, the CCP’s tyranny, its opposition to universal values, its persecution of Falun Gong through collaboration with Jiang Zemin, its destruction of traditional culture, its history of violence, its cult-like nature, and its rogue characteristics.

The Nine Commentaries states: “The remnants of today’s communist regimes are nearing their end, and their collapse is imminent. Before they vanish entirely, it is necessary to fully reflect upon and expose this largest and most evil cult in history, allowing those still deceived by it to recognize its completely malicious nature, cleanse themselves of the communist poison, break free from the control of this evil spirit, and abandon all illusions about the Communist Party.”

Twenty years after Nine Commentaries was published, over 437 million people have resigned from the CCP and its affiliated organizations. As the world increasingly witnesses the instability of the CCP, it seems destined for the dustbin of history. As Nine Commentaries states, “When people fully understand the rogue nature of the Communist Party and are no longer deceived by its falsehoods, it will be the end of the CCP and its rogue character.”

In celebration of this 20-year milestone, The Epoch Times and NTD Television will host seminars in various locations. A commemorative seminar will take place on Sunday, November 10, from 1:00 to 3:30 p.m. at the Sheraton Hotel in Flushing, New York. Scholars, prominent journalists, former CCP members, and volunteers involved in the movement to quit the Party will discuss the content of Nine Commentaries, its impact on China and the world, and ways to further encourage more Chinese citizens to recognize and break away from the CCP.
